did it twice got 2 different signs and it got it right both times ? first was 9 second 18 ?

yep, both one of the different possibilities. If you look nxt time though, 9 and 18 will have the same symbols. The symbols change every time you do it, but the numbers with the same symbol remin the same (if that makes sense)
