Trying out 5:2 diet....would like support!

Fast day today......this morning went really well...I've had just over a litre of water so far and I have just eaten my lunch which was a tin of WW tomato soup - 76 calories and a hartley's no added sugar jelly - 3 calories :)

I will be getting weighed tonight so shall see if the fasting last week has any effect on the scales. Not too worried if it doesn't because my waist has gone down my 1/2 an inch :) x

Thank you! I maintained this week....was a little disappointed but hopefully will lose some next week :)

Well dinner was a WW ocean pie - 196, 50g of garden peas - 32 cals, 100g of broccoli and cauli mix - 31 cals, 100g frozen carrots - 22 cals and 115g of tesco tinned new potatoes - 80 cals.

Felt really satisfied after that tea as felt like I weren't missing out on anything :)
 
Well yesterday I had 1600 calories and burnt 120 doing exercise! A little more than I planned to eat yesterday but I am fasting again today so will be under 500 calories today :)

I actually had a kebab for tea last night and I must try to stop feeling guilty for having treats :-s I am so used to doing sw that I feel guilty when I eat something that isn't SW friendly but I know I shouldn't as the 5:2 diet allows you to eat 'what you want' within reason.

Today is my 4th fast day and has been the easiest by far! Today's food is:

Lunch - 1.30pm - 107 calories

Tesco light choices cup a soup - 57 calories
Sugar free Hartley's jelly - 3 calories
1 slice of Kingsmill crustless bread - 47 calories

Dinner - 303 calories

WW Ocean pie - 196 calories
50g frozen peas - 32 calories
100g frozen broccoli and Cauli - 31 calories
200g frozen sliced carrots - 44 calories

I do weigh out all the above too :)

I will then probably have a WW yog for a snack and a cup of tea tonight so that will take me to 473 calories for today :) x
 
Here to follow!! Ww meals are pretty good for 5:2, they are low in calories and taste okay. I usually think they are pretty small but for a low calorie day I would appreciate a ww meal I think.
 
Mon 11/11 - fast day

Lunch - 98 calories

Cup a soup - 57 cals
Fruit bag - 41 cals

Dinner - 360 calories

WW fish pie - 196 cals
2 x garden mix veg - 110 cals
WW yog - 54 cals

Tea - 9 cals

467 calories in total today :) and I lost a pound at WI so a very happy bunny!
 
Mon 18/11 - fast day

Lunch - 106 cals

Light choices veg cup soup - 57 cals
Apple snack pack - 41 cals
No sugar jelly - 8 cals

Dinner - 326 cals

3 slices milk roll - 141 cals
Spaghetti rings - 115 cals
1 egg - 70 cals

Snack - 40 cals

1 x highlights hot chocolate

Total cals - 472 :)

I also lost another pound and I have lost 1.5 inch from my tummy :) - 4 pound in 4 weeks
