Tuna in Brine?

I am doing 810 this week, and I can't get hold of tuna in water. Is tuna in brine OK, drained? Or would the salt content cause problems? And would it be OK to have a hard-boiled egg with it? Just getting fed up with chicken salad a bit.

Tuna in water is tuna in brine, so thats fine.

Oh Carol, you've made me giggle at myself, I've been buying the 'in spring water' religiously and it is like trying to find the holy grail in some shops xx

Tuna in brine is definitely a no brine is salt.

Most supermarkets do Tuna in spring water Tescos now do their own variety its has a purple label.

The brine will make you retain water.

Definite no to the egg too much fat.
