Tuna

Bumbs. I have just caved and had a tuna salad about 100-50g of tuna in sunflower oil. I checked and no carbs.... do you think it will kick me out of ketosis?

It shouldn't kick you out of ketosis but the calorie and fat content of the oil will be quite high. If you have to do this again I think a better suggestion would be tuna in spring water.

I might be wrong but I think the emphasis on 'staying in ketosis' clouds the view of calorie/fat intake. I know from my days on Atkins I could be in ketosis but easily eating 2000 calories and 200g of fat.
Yes, I stayed in ketosis but that was only part of the bigger picture.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know why I did it. I think it is because I went for a walk for 2 hours and wanted something to burn - felt weak. Ohhhh I make myself mad!

Hi there, don't worry about it this is just a teensy weensy blip and you won't notice it... just stay positive )
