unable to do TS due to health.. alternatives?

hi all I need to lose around 6 stone for an operation on my heart in order to be able order start a family with my partner.
I've looked at TS but due to my heart I cannot do it. Would the man plan be a suitable alternative? Can I ask if anyone has done an alternative and had good results? Thanks in advance!

I'm doing the Man Plan at the moment and have lost a stone in five weeks....it works for me !
