Uncles Ben's long grain rice - boil in a bag!

    Is this free on a green day? I have always thought it is.

    I am going back onto SW properly tomorrow like I used to do... put on a few pounds again since hitting target.

    Tomoz I have planned for a 6.30am 45 min gym session.

    Breakfast - 2 weetabix and milk and sweetener for one healthy a and b

    Lunch - Boil in a bag plain rice, tuna (other healthy b), boiled eggs, chopped cucumber, peas.

    Muller light yog and apple for snacks

    Tea - pasta in sauce (milk second healthy a) and quorn sausages and veg

    Does this sound ok? Syn free? I am saving my syns for vodka and diet lemonade at weekend hehe x

    It looks okay but you should still try and have at least 5 syns a day

    Hi yes the plain boil in a bag rice is free on EE/Green would only be a healthy extra on red im sure im right someone will correct me if im wrong hopefullyx

    Rice is not a HEB on the red plan as it does not have enough fibre in it

    Some packs of rice have oil in them to keep the rice separate. Check the ingredients list. If it just says rice, then fine - if there is oil listed, then there will be syns.

    As above :) I'm having a red day!

    per 100g - 117 cals
    3.1 g protein
    24.3g carbs
    0.5g fat

    Rice is 5 syns for 28g dry weight on red or 2 per 100g cooked weight.
