How Many Calories Do I Require To Lose Weight?

If you know how many calories your body needs and then deduct how many calories you are consuming you can work out your deficit

then use the rule of thumb that 3000cals equals a 1lb weight loss

Eg My calorific need is 1700 per day

Im consuming 700 calories per day

Thats a deficit of 1000 calories per day which equals a 1lb weight loss every 3 days which I reckon is about right

Dont forget as your weight goes down you will need to adjust the figures as a smaller body requires less calories to move around
