There are a couple of articles about VLCD's in todays Sunday Mirror - one (in the magazine) about a woman who lost 11 stone and another (in the paper) about a family who lost 40 stone.
The one where the woman lost 11 says she went on CD and lost 2 stone in 6 months but then put it back on, later she took tablets from her doctor and following that she lost all the weigh with LL.
The article with the family who lost 40 stone just mentions CD - one member of the family met a friend who'd been on it and because of this so did her mum and then by the sound of it the rest of the family followed. Family lost 40 stone - Sunday - News - Sunday Mirror
