Ways to entertain the kids?

Have got a few friends coming round on Tuesday for a get together.
Am trying to think what could plan to keep the kids entertained while the adults have a catch up and maybe a drink or 2
Anyone any good ideas for cheap and not too messy things for kiddies to do?
I have 3 kids and work in a school but my minds drawing a blank!
The kids ages range from 6 to 14 and some boys and girls which I think is what makes it awkward!

Cleaning! 14 year old can wield the bleach for the loos, or perhaps the brillo pads for the oven, the little one can dust skirting boards and under furniture and the others everything else!
