Weekend temptations and fading resolution

Hi All,

Been off the message boards for a few days due to work and i really have to say have really missed reading all the motivating threads on here:(. Have had a difficult few days on CD as have been faced with so much temptation what with friends calling and scrummy BBQs and everyone getting squiffy!! Really missed my vodka and coke for the first time in 5 weeks:sigh:. Actually felt like a social pariah:cry:. Have found myself picking a bit too much lately - an extra piece of chicken (am SS+)here and a bite of spare rib there, also splashes of skimmed milk in my tea when i shouldn't be having any at all. I feel obsessed with food at the mo and having to deal with it (ie cook for family) sends me into major grumpiness:mad:.
Tomorrow i promise not to pick and to stay firmly on track (with the help of these threads!!).

Please send me zillions of motivation vibes to keep me on track!!:vibes:

Hi Jax, i have been on LT for 5 weeks and done very well but like you started to stray. went to visit my pal last weekend who is on CD and she has inspired mr again. i have now started CD just finished day 2, you just have to forget about the bad days and get on the path again. good luck

oh hun,i know exactly how you feel and a few days off here and i can go off the rails..... you have posted and thats half the battle,you can do this you know you can,just think about all the reasons you started cd and that should motivate you to no end,if that fails get out the before piccies and look at those for inspiration,you can and will do this,

Thanks Girls!!! (Becky, can feel those vibes rocketing my way!!:D). Tomorrow is a new week and i shouldn;t have done much damage. Have decided to up the exercise and do some very very light jogging/walking to try and help tone up. That should cheer me up. I keep telling myself that i;m almost half way there and i CAN do this. There's just so many social engagements coming up over the next few weeks but i will see it through - Keep your eyes on the prize!!!:p

Yes, I've been feeling exactly the same - this lovely weather has meant that everyone on our estate appears to have got their BBQ out, dusted it down and been busy barbying over the weekend. The temptation was just too much.

Gave in on Saturday, but just had the meat, not the bread. The worst part was refusing the wine - that nearly killed me.

I WANT WINE!!:cry:
