Weigh in result week 3

I am absolutely gutted, just been weighed after 3 weeks of completely 100% and I have lost 1.5lb this week.:cry:

Just don't know what to say, my scales weighed me a ful 1.5lb lighter this morning and last night but I don't want to get into that going by my scales and not the CDC's. Cried and cried to be honest.

Really need to sit down and give myself a talking to cos otherwise I'll through it all away.

I know how gutting this can be, but there has to be a reason for it. More than likely it is just water retention.
I only lost 1lb this week and it was the same in my 11th week. Yet last week I lost 7lb.
It goes in swings and roundabouts and I bet you have a fantastic loss next week.
Thanks Liz :( hope your right its just so gutting, have been out with husband and friends Saturday and yesterday, been so good even to the point of spitting out a mistake vodka that had been put in my fizzy water by mistake. I have watched people eat all my favourite foods and have drunk so much bloody water I could swim in it. AND, AND I had the day off on Friday so walked 3 miles into town and then swam 64 friggin length (a mile) in the pool at 7am in the morning. All for 1.5lb.

I must not give up, I must not give up. 1.5lb off is better than no loss at all.

Well done on your loss and what Liz has said is very true, keep going & you WILL be rewarded for all your efforts.

Now i just have to learn to listen to my own advice :rolleyes::D;)

You've lost over 17lbs in 3 weeks & thats fantastic, so please try to keep that in the forefront of your mind x

I am on LL but this happened to me too in week 3, but I had done the same as you a great deal of exercise.

Just keep going you WILL be rewarded for it next week.

i agree with liz that is a excellent example bet you will have a better loss next week. your doing brill 17lbs in 3weeks is excellent.

Hey hun, if it makes you feel any better, I do actually find that when I do more exercise it sometimes leads to smaller losses (as muscle weighs more than fat) but what you don't lose in lbs on the scales you WILL lose in inches. Trust me :) if you have stuck to it 100%, mathematically your body MUST have lost at least 3lbs (as if you undereat 3500 cals that equals 1lb loss of fat and assuming you are on CD SS then you are probs undereating about 1500 cals a day, which equates to 10,500 cals undereaten in a week, which equals 3lbs fat lost) so if it isn't showing then it will either be due to water retention or muscle gain. That is the only possible reason.

So that being the case please try not to be down about your 1.5lb loss as I guarantee you will have lost at least 3lbs in fat!! :D keep up the exercise though, you will find if you stick with it when you reach goal you will not only be slim but nicely toned too.
