I weigh at home and have ww digital scales but again this week they have been so unreliable and different! every time i step on them theyre reading up to 5lb difference! I dont know why theyre so rubbish! do you reckon I should buy a new pair of scales, or do you think this might be because the battery needs replacing, its really annoying not knowing what my true weight is!!!!

I personally would use the boots scales every week if your not bothered about paying, or maybe as you said the batteries might need changing.
I used to be a passing weigher (if i pass them i hop on:() so i got rid of mine, now the day before i go to weigh in i pop to boots just so i dont get a shock when i get weighed in class .

You can gain and lose pounds in one day its best to choose a weigh in day and go by the weight you are on that day at the same time each week, weight can vary quite a lot.

Stop weighing in every day - thats the problem, its not the scales. Your weight can fluctuate so much on a daily basis its not funny. Pick a day and weigh in once a week, and youll find the scales are fine ;)

Even if you weigh once a week you should check your scales for accuracy. Weigh something you know the weight of e.g a 5kg bag of potatoes or some packets of pasta or even better some dumbells, You will then see how accurate your scales are being on that day. If they are ok, do not move them from where you did the test weight and hop on xx
