Weight Scales

Hi Everyone,

I am a new Cambridge Counsellor and have a slight problem. I am on my second set of weight measurements scales. My first ones were from America and only read weight in pounds, because I am so bad with figures it took me forever to figure out how much my clients had lost. In fact I think they lost another pound waiting for my calculation. I then purchased another set that read in stones, but everytime my ladies get on them they vary in weight calculations as much as two pounds. As my husband said it is like being a Taxi Driver with a horse and wagon. Can anybody tell me what scales they are using and if the are 100% accurate. Many thanks Miss America

i am not a counsellor but i use tanita ones, you can measure in lbs, stone or kg's, and they seem very accurate. you can measure body fat % etc too. i got them on sale from boots.

I'm not a CDC but I thought I'd throw in my ten pence worth!

I use a set of weight watchers ones that I've had for quite a while and haven't let me down at all.

They do kilos, lbs or stones, measure your body fat etc and are really hard wearing.

Ultimately though the only scales that will be 100% acurate are specialist doctors scales, that are regularly calibrated, but most domestic sets will come a close second, undoubtedly you get what you pay for :)
