What are YOU eating this week?

Hi,

I thought it might be a good idea to share planned meals for this week (if you do plan your meals) to help newbies or people struggling for inspiration (like me)!

I only do Green Days so here's my planned meals for this week (subject to change!!)


Breakfasts:
  • Oats so simple Original,
  • wholemeal toast with LCL & Vegemite
  • Fruit & Yoghurt
Lunches:
  • Baked potato with cottage cheese
  • Savoury rice
  • Baked Sweet potatoe with beans & cheese
  • Uncle Bens Express Rice (3 syns)
  • Leftovers!
Teas:
  • Seabass fillets with free Mushroom risotto
  • Stir fry veg with Quorn pieces & Egg Noodles
  • Asda Tortellini (6.5syns for half pack) with homemade bolagnaise sauce & Quorn Peppered steaks
  • Quorn Sausage & bean bake,
  • Veg Omelette with sweet potato mash,
  • Free Veggie Curry (see recipe thread) or
  • Quorn sausages with mash, veg & gravy.
So what are you planning to eat this week?
 
im oober boring and always have alpens for breakys, and leftovers for lunch.

but, for dinners iv had or am planning to have

shepards pie 2 syns per portion, serving 4.
steak stirfry, completely free
chicken curry 5 syns
sw chips with chicken topped with BBQ sauce and cheese and lettuce
pasta and spag bowl, or chilli con carni.

I do EE and almost always have HEX B as breakfast-

Breakfasts:
Poached eggs on toast
Sesame ryvita with laughing cow
Morrisson syn free sausage on toast
egg mayo on pagen rolls
Oats so simple

Dinners:
sushi
Tinned stewed steak with sprouts
Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn
Prawn wonton soup and a mugshot
Leftovers

Tea:
Smoked haddock kedgeree
Lamb shank and mash
spaghetti bolognese
Moroccan chicken tagine with pomegranite cous cous
Sausage and bean casserole

I don't plan weekends and where I have not used a HEX a I will have a lovely big sugar free vanilla/caramel latte
 
Ohhh kedgeree! You have put me in the mood for that now! Do you have a SW recipe for it? What fish do you use (am I right in thinking smoked mackeral has syns?)

Smoked mackeral is synned (1 syn per 28g) but smoked haddock is free. This is the recipe from the website- I add chicken stock and peas xxx

567g/1lb 4oz skinned haddock fillets
1 red onion
227g/8oz long grain rice
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
juice of ½ lemon
a couple of good pinches of cayenne pepper
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 hardboiled eggs

1. Poach the haddock fillets in simmering water for about 8 minutes. Drain off the water into a measuring jug and top up to 600ml/20fl oz with water. Flake the haddock and keep warm.
2. Finely chop the onion and place in a large pan, pour in 113ml/4fl oz of the reserved fish liquor and cook for 15 minutes until soft. Add the rice, bay leaf and remaining fish liquor. Bring to the boil, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is soft.
3. Stir in the flaked haddock, parsley, lemon juice and cayenne pepper, season to taste and serve with quartered hard-boiled eggs.


 
I do a mix so every day varies:

Breaky:

2 X Aplen
Egg on Toast
2 Weetabix
Bannanna Smoothie

Dinner

Ham Salad Sandwhich
Pasts Stir & Serve
Chicken Salad
Jacket Pot with beans

Tea:

Pork chop and salad/sw chips
Chicken Stew
Homemade Egg Fried Rice
Full Cooked Breakfast
Chilli
 
Breakfast
Bran Flaked skimmed milk.

Lunch
Somthing on toast eg tomatoes / beans / spagetti

Teas
Stir frys and rice or rice noodles
Omlettes
Jacket Pots with onion and chive cottage cheese with salad
SW chips beans and my famous breaded mushrooms and onions and might try jalpeno peppers as someone suggested.
Also might make pasta pie again x
 
i only can take it day to day

but had burgers yesterday, sarndines and stir fry,

today i had quorn meatballs and pasta, jacket potatoe cheese and beans for dinner
