What do you take to work?

I often take savoury rice cold, or make my own rice salad. We don't have a microwave at work, so I've got a Thermos food flask, it's great. Cold omelettes are quite nice too.

You can get a food flask just about anywhere that sells ordinary flasks. Lakeland do a few but they are a bit pricier

I'm still trying to find one that will keep the contents hot until lunchtime. I've tried preheating the flask I have but come lunchtime my pasta was stone cold. . I think perhaps you need to have something that is more liquid for it to retain the heat.

I got mine from Argos, it's a stainless steel Thermos one (750ml) it was about £11, but Asda and Robert Dyas sell them. I leave boiling water in it for a while first, then microwave my food and stick it in. It's not boiling hot by lunchtime, but it's still very warm.
