What is your job?

So, Uni is over. I spend hours and hours looking at employment websites and i feel a little bit lost.

What do you do? Gimme some inspiration :) xxx

I'm a student nurse :)

Accounts Assistant but still a student too

Database scientist

I'm a midwife, but soon to be a student nurse come September!

Will be weird having someone mentor me when I've been a mentor myself!

Only doing this conversion because in all my local trust it helps to have dual qualifications. They are cutting band 6 posts everywhere and no students are getting perceptorships :(

Its scary, oh and the birth rate in increasing! Go figure.

I used to be an account manager for an advertising company. Now I'm a housewife that spends hours in the field with the horses!!

What do I fancy doing? Well, don't tell anyone (especially KD, Mini, Linda, Bev, Sharon, Georgie) but i get my results today. Depending on my average mark i will get in to Secondary Science teacher training.

I first applied for medicine, but my sister (consultant) put me off.

Honeslty? I wanna be a vet, but can't afford 5 years in uni!!

Wow BG, good luck for today!! I have friends that are teachers and I know that it gets a huge amount of bad press but it is still such a rewarding job I am sure. My brother-in-law is doing medicine at the moment and he loves it but like you said you have advice and guidance from an exisiting Consultant so no better person to hear it from eh!
It's crap when you really want to do something yet can't afford the time at uni etc isn't it :( Is there not a shorter course that you could do given that you already have a degree? Is it your degree marks that you are waiting for sorry or A'Level? xxx

Apologies, I will wake up eventually today! You are obviously waiting for degree marks or HND or something as you said that they are uni marks! Sorry, lol xxx

I thought about teaching (as did my partner) but decided against it in the end! My partner is still at a school but he is the IT technician! Trying to decide if he wants to teach or not......

I'm a proof reader!

I'm a nurse, and I'd avoid doing that!

I'm also a trained nurse - have been a ward nurse, district nurse, deputy nursing home manager, and now i am a continence specialist - not very glamorous atall - i wish i had been a teacher - too late now -
The world is your oyster

I've just done BSc Genetics. Got A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. Kinda pushed into science eh?
