Whats happening?

Hi All,

I'm in my second week (get weighed on Wed eve), I've been really good all week not cheating at all, drinking all my water (at least 2ltrs a day), ok so I haven't quite had all my packs - for 3 days I only had 3 packs (I know, being on has made me really ill it was v difficult to eat 3; but I did take a multi vit on these days), I came on last wed but I'm well into ketosis (dark purple/pink on stick) yet my scales show I'm not loosing weight.

I lost 8lb last week which is great yet this week I'm loosing 1lb one day then putting it back on the next, I know I shouldn't weigh myself daily but I can't help it.

I can't believe I might not have lost anything this week, it's only week 2! Last time I did a VLCD I lost 6lb in wk 2. I can't help comparing things as I'm starting from the same point.

What's doing on?

You need to try and have all of your packs. They are nutritionaly balanced with enough calories to sustain ourselves and loose weight. If your not having them all the body can go into starvation mode and hold onto all that fat. I found that even though started TOTM on the sat,it still affected my weightloss on the Thurs.
My advice. Try and have all of your packs. If your not managing them all, double up on one of them. And don't weigh yourself. If you do find you have a problem with your WI, discuss it with your LLC on wed, that's what they're there for.

its vital that u have your 4 packs a day hun..... your body is taking in such a small amount of calories just on 4 packs... so if you just having 3 then your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to any fat it can..... which may explain you not loosing weight (you shouldnt weigh yourself at home as ur body flucuates throughout the day...I learnt this over the years)....
Please have all 4 packs as each pack gives you 25% pf your daily nutrition.... Good luck xxxx

Just to show you that daily weighing shows you can gain, and STS but overall you will lose - here's my first 50 days on LL

I agree with what the ladies are saying, you do need to have all your packs, but you also need to HIDE the scales. They are a dangerous contraption to have at home. Also it is a known fact that women tend to struggle with weightloss around the dreaded TOTM. I never used to on any other diet, but on this one the loss was lower for me. A fact I have to accept.

My LLC told me the average weightloss on LL is 3lb per week (not ure how true this is) but your weightloss will even itself out over time. Its hard for you to see that yet only being on the plan for almost 2 weeks.

Good luck with your WI on wednesday, can you double up on your packs between now and then to get them all in and hopefully give your body the boost it needs. x
