Whats your routine for your baby?

Yeah it's from asda I like the asda pouches too I try give him a mixture because sometimes I am too busy to be making stuff he's had some mashed up banana tonight mixed with porridge which he really loves he always smiles and gets excited when I give that to him. My friend said she uses frozen veg to make her LOs stuff so I was thinking I might do that as well it's easy to stick a few pieces of cauliflower or whatever in steamer would only take as long as defrosting something or whatever.
I broke blender so gunna have to get another next time I go shopping forgot tonight he's got a few purées in freezer though and a couple of pouches and porridge so will be okay til wednesday x

Well Amelia has had baby rice today, I made and froze carrots purée but when took out freezer still ha loadsa lumps in. My hand blender is crap. What does everyone else use ?

Well Amelia had baby rice today as I took carrots puree out of freezer and it was lumpy I used my electric hand blender and it's crap, wat does everyone else use ?

Mines broke but I was gunna buy a hand blender,
Teddy had the rest of the Ella's kitchen plums and parsnips today and just had peach yoghurt for tea. I just got him a few more pouches from Sainsburys some were on offer, trying to give him more savoury things this week cus alot he has is sweet even though everything savoury he's had he likes x

He first had banana, then pear then I got some banana porridge,
I never started with baby rice it's a pointless thing it just fills them up and no nutrition so I'd rather give something with nutrition in than a filler that can make them constipated and it tastes like crap. X

The banana porriage is lovely its one of Hollie's favourite, the fruity cereal is quite nice too. I did start of wiv baby rice but prefeur baby cereals. I got hand blender as my blender was broken but think I will invest in a better blender. Last night I tried Hollie wiv home made vegetables but it just makes her gag on it. so I brought some heniz homemade pots and see how she gets on with that.

How's Teddy and Amelia today xx

Teddy had hipp cauliflower carrot and peas today he seemed to like it, I'm giving him his favourite mashed banana and porridge for tea need to use up the bananas starting to go spotty lol! x

That's my only thing whatever I home make he doesn't seem keen on cus it's not as smooth as pouches or jars

I was going buy that blender, glad you posted that hun i'll ave to get one, well I just given Hollie one of us heniz pots butternut squash, carrot and apple and she really enjoyed it ,I taste it myself and is sweet wiv having bit of apple to it so think it helped and the texture was really smooth, they weren't bad for price a pk of 2 for 1.20 some of the jars and pouches are quite expensive now, I dont mind paying extra if I know she's going enjoy it though x

Do you buy the 4-6minth jars hun? They are 40p for the Heinz ones in aldi , I got the sweet potato with beef and creamy porridge.
I've froze 5 carrots purees and 5 sweet potato so tomorrow going to make some butternut squash and pear to freeze. Freezers gonna b full ha. How long can you normally freeze them for ?

I give mix of diff brands and jars/ pouches I want to give him as much variety as I can because Jesse is so so fussy at Teddys age he would eat anything but as he got older he's gone fussy so I'm gunna try stop that with teddy.

Be careful you check ingredients for Heinz they actually put sugar in some things! Teddy likes the heinz cauli and broccoli cheese though. Iv got him a hipp spinach potato and cheese bake on cupboard to try too, I really like Ella's kitchen and plum baby but really expensive to buy all the time. in my head I prefer pouches don't know why they seem a lot fresher to me even though they're the same. Sainsburys had got hipp pouches on offer at moment only 49p each meant to be 99p x

Most of the baby foods do have sugar in them, I think some of sugars are natural sugars from fruit etc but its definitely worth reading the labels, the hipps are a good range. Maisie and Emily eat really well they love there fruit and veg although Maisie does have small appiette she doesnt always eat alot but Emily loves her food. I think I try and give Hollie a mixture of things homemade and jars like ive done with my others but I will go with wot she likes etc x

Yeah I do give homemade but I said somewhere before he's not so keen because it's not as smooth so when he goes to stage 2 I'll give him a lot more homemade then. And also I've broke my blender and not picked a new one up yet.
Jesse will eat any fruit he really loves fruit, but will not touch veg, eggs, potatoes in any form, most meat and all fish except tuna. He mainly eats yoghurts cheese strings, cheese or tuna sandwich or beans or spaghetti. He's started being weird with pasta now too, but I'm trying to get him eat better if he don't eat his tea now I won't let him have anything afterwards so he's starting to eat abit more now, if he tries something he don't like though like if I try bribe him he'll literally gag and eyes be watering and everything so I don't know what to do!
