where do you get your lipotrim??

I pay £27 for a weeks supply here

Hi All,
Am new tothe site. Re started lipotrim to day. Three years ago before getting married I lost 2 stone in just over a month managed to keep it off till gave up smoking and this year have gone back up to 12stone. The diet does work but is so difficult to get back on once you have previously been on it. However this time I am totaslly motivated and by 31st of Jult would like to be about 10.6 stone....all crossed.
I get mine from the local pharmacist having done a lipotrim search for nearest stockist on post code. I pay £36 for weekly supply of 21 sachets. May be worth mentioning this to your local supplier or printing these bloggs as evidence of prices. Goodluck! Am feeling really hungary and trying not to think about food!!!! I know this stage passes but just cant wait for a week to fly and hopefully find out I have lost some weight. Have tried every type of diet and can honestly say lipotrim is really good.

No offence but your doctor is quite right, the NHS shouldn't be paying for people to go on specialist diets like this when cheaper alternatives are available i.e. regular exercise and a healthy diet

I myself bought it off a certain auction site; I felt I wasn't overweight enough to actually get it through the proper channels. Cost me £180 for 1 months' supply, I recently bought another months' supply as I wanted to get right down to my previous weight and the same person sent me 2 months' supply for the price of one :D

HI No offence to you either but if you can aford to pay £180 for one months lipotrim well fair play to you i on the other hand couldnt pay that sort of money as you may not be aware we are still in recession here in NI with 4 kids and a morgatage and that fact i need an op ASAP and have to loss 3stone before i can have it done i was asking my doc for some help! just as people who get other weight loss methods on the nhs! me and my husband pay enough national insurance so if lipotrim was available on nhs why wouldnt i take it? unfortunately i havent got time to try the cheeper alternatives of weight loss!!! and as you said you are not over weight enough to get lipotrim through the right channels so i dont think you would have the understanding of some one who is really over weight!! if you read my post i was more peeved of the fact it cost more here in NI than in england and i was paying £44 and having trouble sticking to it!!

I pay £36 from my local chemist. I also asked my doctor if I would be able to get it on the nhs. The answer was No, however he was willing to give me pills or surgery on the nhs, which I believe is a great deal more expensive in the long run. Seemed a bit crazy to me but there you go.

ames xXx

I read on the net last night that if you can get a hospital referral you can get LT for £20 a week.
I haven't got a clue how you go about getting one though

i must look in 2 that as i shouldnt have any problem getting a hospital referral as i need an op ASAP and they wont do it untill i have lost 3stone!!

I'm paying £36 in London too - I think that's a general price for a week's supply. The reason why this is not available on prescription is because Lipotrim is classed as a food supplement, not a medicine. With medicine, I think, there would have to be tighter regulation & tests.

Those that are paying extra £ - why don't you try going direct & order your supplies via website? Especially if you are monitored by doctors; not sure how you can deal with ordering from website & asking a pharmacy to monitor you though.....

Sassy, I think what Lisa has mentioned might be correct as I've heard about it too. Try contacting your specialist that is going to deal with your operation and check with them. It would be great if you could get it cheaper.

Also, if you're finding it hard to stop yourself from picking on food give yourself a rule - it's either picking on food or the operation. And basically tell this to yourself as an affirmation over and over again until it sticks! Since you need the op it's better stick :)

Baboo - buying a product such as this of any auction sites is EXTREMELY dangerous ! You never know what in the foodpacks is and it really doesn't matter that the seller is swearing by it's authenticity. Also, since this is a product that must be supervised it must be done in this way for a reason. This is not just 'giving up carbs / atkins, etc' diet, this is a very serious and rapid weight loss that must be done under medical supervision so that you do not damage your health.

All the best to all of you with your weight loss.

Here is to a healthier & happier slim life :)

Yeah, you have a point about the price difference, that's totally unfair

I wouldn't begrudge people like yourself getting Lipotrim on the NHS, though I think therapy of some kind is potentially a better solution as the problem for many is their actual relationship with food, hence why so many diets fail for so many

Good luck :)

Hi girls thanks for all the info im going to look in to it, i had another scan yesterday which showed the growth on my gallbladder is still there so they have no doubt my gallbladder has 2 go but want me to lose the 3stone for my health during the op

thx x

Sassy, it's quite odd that docs want you to loose weight rapidly (I understand that it's because of operation) as a rapid weight loss diet is one of the reasons for gallstones......Even on the medical form you get asked about gallstones specifically.

I hope all works out well for you and you get better soon. Take care xoxo

Neem i havent told my surgical doctor that im doing lipotrim just my gp who didnt seemed to concerned, i saw the surgical doc in April she told me my gallbladder had to come out but there was no way she would do it untill i lose atleast 3stone she said she would see me in 3months and if i had lost weight she would look in to removing the gallbladder, i had my scan the other day so she will likely be sending 4 me shortley so i need to lose asap or she will send me away 4 another 3months which i couldnt bare this pain its really bad although it has settled since i have been on LT as the gallbladder is getting a rest with me not eating.

your right but i think its because if u have been on lipotrim and your gallbladder is getting a rest then when u start eatting its not used to the fat then starts the pain so in my case i hope 2 have them gone by the time i start eating again, i dont have stones i was told at scan that i have a growth on the gallbladder wall.

This happened my friend she had never had trouble with gallstones she went on LT for 6months lost loads of weight then one day out of the blue when she started eating she took bad pain and had her gallbladder removed.

thanks Neem xoxo:)

Hi Sassy, I don't envy you...apparently the gallbladder pain is unbelievable!!! & I really hope that you'll get better soon. I think, and this is only what I've read, is the reason why people can get gallbladders on any rapid weight loss diet is because the gallbladder doesn't contract to release bile cause there is nothing in the tummy that needs to be processed by the bile - well, that's my 2 pence of med explanation in a very laic explanation :) But, on the other hand, gallstones can develop at any stage, so I've spoken to GP about this, I know what symptoms to look out for and will be keeping my fingers crossed that all will be well.

Now, back to you - if your GP knows about this diet, that's fab. And the fact that they're not hurting you as much as before it's great too. I always grill my doc about everything :) so I guess you've covered your basis with him, not with the surgeon. It's pretty bad (in my opinion) that the surgeon just sent you away 'loose 3 stones or I won't do the op' without much help....(or did she send you to a dietitian??) - if it was that easy to loose that much weight in 3 months I guess there wouldn't be a need for such diet as Lipotrim......Hm....

All the best with your diet and the op :))) Take care of yourself. xoxo

hiya neem yep she just said lose weight or i cant have the op didnt give me any advice or help i felt she was just looking to get rid of me, thinking some one as big as me will never lose and it was an excuse to put my op back, the health care is not great here in NI i have had gallbladder pain since i was 18years old and only weighed 10stone back then but they had no idea where the pain was coming from and have only found the gallbladder problem in the last year so i have been suffering for over 10 years , so i have been 100% on LT since thursday i feel im back on track and need to do this because i cant go to the surgical doc with out having lost i want 2 show her im not just some number who she can send of to lose weight never to be seen again! and i wont be leaving this time till i get a date for the op its really not easy looking after 4kids and been taken of in the ambulance at all hours with this pain.

thanks for the advice, how are you getting on? xx

Fellow Northern Irelander

Hiya Sassy,
I'm from NI and work currently in the UK as a teacher. As I'm heading home for the summer my chemist has said he'll provide me with 5 weeks supply so that I don't have to pay over the odds in NI when I'm home. I also have friends who purchase LT when in England rather than NI.

It is worth it so stick at it. When visiting my brother last year in Co.Down I fell on his building site and tore the ligaments in my ankle. I ended up in Downpatrick Hospital on crutches which at 20 stone I didn't have the power in my arms supprt myself. I can vividly remember clammering out of reception in agony with a whole audience watching me struggle to get myself to my borther's car 30 yards away. Stick at it the results are fantastic and think of the quality of life you will have after your op.

Take care and keep positive.
