I need to find somewhere for myself and 2 daughters (5 and 9) to stay in the whitby area (doesnt need to be in whitby itself) for the august bank holiday weekend-all the b & b 's i've tried are full or too expensive.

if anyone has any ideas-i'm getting desperate !!

scarborough is nice too ,looked at the new travelodge but too expensive.
