Why after exercising am I so so hungry!!!!!!

I get the severe munchies. Anyone got any ideas what I can eat to fill me up after my workouts.
I always have breakfast, and usually have a banana before and afterwards before exercising!!

You get the munchies if you've worked out hard because your body needs refuelling lol! Have a bowl of fruit and make sure you up your protein so your body can repair itself.
 
Yeah, it's totally natural that when you exercise very hard or very often you will need more food. I tend to eat a banana pre-workout and a few eggs or some lean turkey post-workout! :) Your muscles need the protein.
 
I agree with this. Carbs before and protein after, and it's normal to feel hungry after a workout, just make sure it's good lean protein you eat immediately after.
 
Agree with all the above...carbs before and protein after helps loads. I always have my dinner straight after the gym anyways :-D
