Im getting so angry at myself, I used to have such will power with my eating but now its gone to cr*p.

I also use to love to excercise but I feel so tired all the time I never keep at it.

Does anyone have some motivation for me? Or any tips.

When I was dieting for my wedding I didnt slip once - focused as ever. I have my honeymoon in September and I want to loose a stone by August 6th as im a bridemaid at my best friends wedding.

I need to do this - so why wont I!!:sigh:

    Regards x

At the risk of making myself unpopular, I think this is often the case when people embark on weight loss for a specific date. The goal and focus is all centered around one particular moment/day and that is enough for a lot of people to stay goal orientated and on plan..... inevitably once the goal/day is achieved the motivation also goes.

You have to re-think about why you actually want to lose weight- if it is simply to look good on holiday then maybe the outcome doesn't feel worth the million tiny hard decisions that losing weight puts in front of you every day.

Think of all the ways in which your life will be improved by losing weight- not just feeling better for 1 week in the sun, but all the other reasons why you want to be in control and feel good and be healthy for the rest of your life.

You need to think big (pardon the pun) not just in terms of a fleeting holiday, but in terms of who you want to be and how you want to feel for the rest of your life. Feeling amazing, having confidence, getting dressed without getting upset at the mirror, shopping without embarrassment, having sex without squirming, going on days out without fretting, exercising without nealy passing out, having photos taken without being horrified..........LIVING LONGER.....these should be your goals. With these to look forward to, the motivation comes easier
