Why have I done it!!

    Woke up this morning and had lost 11lbs since monday morning according to my scales....fab!!
    Now I've ruined it by going out to the pub with my mates and drinking far too much alcohol!!
    We then went for a curry and I was amazed that I had hardly any appetite for food but could still kick myself for drinking far too much. I do feel that I cant put my life completely on hold and still need to socialise with my mates but it is soooo difficult to be so good when everyone around me is drinking and having a great time, I am determined to be good tomorrow and get back on the straight and narrow as well as hoping to make myself do a 2 mile walk to try and rectify some of my naughtiness!! I have my 1st weigh in on Monday!!!!!!!!

    Hello,

    I know its hard to resist but you must not drink alcohol on this diet it can be dangerous as on ss.

    Good luck for getting back on track today. I love walks and a power walk is so refreshing and motiviating. Good luck for weigh in Monday.

    Oh no - look you really have to stick to this diet and avoid all booze as its dangerous when your in ketosis and what made you have a curry - they are so fattening!

    Stick to your diet - its too expensive not too and youl beat yourself up everytime you have a bad time with food.

    Keep yourself busy busy busy and mind off food.

    I did manage not to have a curry ..I just had some chicken tikka, I know it's still not good but at least I didn't have loads of sauce, rice, naans etc

    Are you Sole soucring? maybe you might be better on ss+ so you can have a little meal during the day if your struggling.

    Yes I am on SS and no I haven't been struggling I just had a very impromtu invite that I wasn't expecting and gave in a little!
    Anyway I've drunk loads more water today, still have 3 shakes to go and feel great, so hopefully I won't of sabotaged my loss too much??
    Have my 1st weigh in tomorrow so I shall let you know

    Hi,

    Alcohol kicks you out of ketosis and may keep you out of ketosis longer than a food-like slip up would because of how alcohol passes through your system. Please check out the sticky on main forum about alcohol, it really is dangerous...

    I think you need to think about what you want. If you slip up by having so much alcohol that really isn't the way to go on this diet. You say you do not want your social life to suffer because you're on CD (or something of the sort) but that's where you're wrong! It doesn't have to suffer, you just can't drink / eat! You can still have fun.
