why oh why?? Bring on some determination!!

    Last time i did this diet properly about may last year i lost 2 stone in 5 weeks and felt brilliant!
    Now i've put every last pound on a through a combination of bad eating habits, medication and depression.:sigh:
    I am 30 in about ten weeks and really want to lose the weight again and find the motivation to sort all areas of my life.
    Kind words of advice and any motivational tips welcome. I'm struggling on sole source because it's winter i just have to drink hot drinks ... can't stand tea/coffee black. I want to do sole source with small amount of skimmed milk.
    I'm on a night shift tonight and this really doesn't help my eating patterns but i feel i have to combat this so maybe starting today would be a good thing!?

    Mel, I work shifts too and know what you are on about, especially on the first night shift because you have been up all day and still have a whole night and when the hell are you supposed to eat your stuff??
    Last time i did CD, i only had the shakes and this time round, have fared so much better with having warming soups and hot porridge in the morning, especially with it being so cold. I have 4 packs and 200ml milk and have recently been drinking the veg drink. Its alright but it feels like another meal and is warming. You have done it before, you know how successful the diet is and once back into it, you will feel the achievement im sure you felt last time. You can do it!! x

    Have you tried using a heaped teaspoonful of vanilla shake as milk in coffee ?........ It tastes OK ...and it takes the 'blackness' away so helps psychologically (well it does for me) .

    Also the water flavours are quite nice made with hot water.

    I know where you are coming from on the hot drink thing ..I work in a big freezing cold shed and the hot drinks keep me alive.

    I'll try those tips and i'm going to make a coffee now using some vanilla. Nights kill me at the best of times but i must get my head round this because my weight gain is impacting on evrything at the moment. I've become a recluse!!!
