Woman of the Year 2012

Cor I didn't think that form was ever going to end! Wrote it out twice - in pencil then pen. Just got to sort photos now. Can't believe I was that big. I wonder now why someone didn't tell me but they did. I just didn't listen :(
Have been reading up on what happens on the day and it sounds so scary! What's everyone wearing?
 
i have a little black dress (it's little, size 12, omg!) just need to find shoes to go with it :\

i've got my before piccies sorted- just need one or 2 more after pictures :)

I do not know what to wear, I'm not a dressy, girly type. I'd be happier in jeans. I have a bad foot, which I can't wear shoes with at all, I live in Uggs, Welles, trainers. Not looking good here is it? Lol. I have my matron of honour dress, but I'm a little precious over that and don't fancy travelling and milling about a room full of strangers in it. I love the dress it's pretty. X

I must be scary because no one told me how big I looked lol, and we had no full length mirrors :(

Thanks I'm not a girly dress girl but I'm trying now I can wear them sure ya will look amazing in whatever ya wear xxxx

i am through to my district finals too, its on sunday!! i am not sure what to wear, or how dressy upsey its going to be, i was under the impression the consultant did a journey board for you?

i am getting nervous, tho i am sure i wil go no further cause i only lost 6.5 stones, and even tho its not the biggest looser, it tends to be a bigger looser that wins i think
 
ONLY lost 6.5st are you for real, that's a fantastic achievement, good luck x

My c is doing my board. I've lost 6.5stone and said to husband is there any point going because I won't get any further (was having childcare issues) but he said it'd be nice to just have the recognition. I have no idea what to say for my story! Good luck for Sunday x
 
it has nowt to do with weight loss ladies- my consultant had a lady go through the semis with a 4 1/2 stone loss. its about the story- how much your life has changed since joining and losing the weight.

even if you don't get through- you are a district finalist- you are the in top 50 (ish) from hundreds, if not thousands of members.

that makes you awesome :)

so go- wear something pretty (but dont over do it if you dont want to) and most importantly- enjoy the day :) :) x

compared with all the previous district winners its nowhere near enough to win, i know that, but its nice to have got this far,

the C is meant to do the board, but mine said to me "i havent a clue what that is.." so i dont know if shes going to do one are not,

i know it shouldnt just be about the biggest loss, but if you look back over the previous winners, you will see they have massive losses, your prob in with a great chance youself,

its nice to have got this far, theres 29 in this district (N Ireland), but being realistic its hard to see me going further, but i will enjoy the day out, and dress up and get my hair and tan done and hope i inspire someone at group to go for it next year

Wow congrats I feel the same about my weightloss too but hey we should be proud we got through. My consultants said she would do my board or I could silly me said I'd do it lol xxxx good luck xxxx
