It depends on your consultant to be honest - a cheap and nasty sash, a cheap and nasty Sw pen, and some cheap flowers in my case. If you meet the criteria you can be put forward to the regional rounds and so on xx

I got voted woman of the year 2013 in our group and nothing made me prouder then the sash certificate and sticker I was given on the day
I was practically bursting with joy and happiness how far I had come. Yes I have 'only' lost two stone - tomorrow it will be 12 months stayed at target but it took me so long to get there - 2 years for various health reasons.
It just meant so much to me and just winning was enough. I didn't care what I got.

I'm interested in this partially because I have been nominated too and the results will be out on Tuesday evening. Last year I was beaten by one vote and there was speculation as to whether some of the winners votes could have been written by the same person (same writing on quite a few and even though a lot of people told me they voted for me I was beaten by one vote) anyway all forgotten because I wouldnt have made it to any regional finals but this year I may if I'm voted winner.
Problem though, it wasnt done properly last year because my old consultant (she left last Tuesday as she couldnt cope with small children and seven classes - 2 on tuesday and 5 on wednesday so tuesday was dropped :cry didnt have top three nominations do a speech and give a before photo (is this correct can anyone confirm this has to be done) but the new consultant (starting this Tuesday is doing it by the book and has told me to have a little speech ready and a before photo). My question though is, when all nominees have given their speech and shown their before photo, is it the members who vote for the winner or the consultant and does the biggest sob story win.
It would mean a lot as I'm going through a lot lately and I know I'm thrilled that people have nominated me (honoured actually that I might be inspirational to others)
If it were possible and I do win then can anyone tell me the official criteria to get into regionals.

I have never heard of providing a picture in 3 years of attending classes with 3 different consultants.
It isn't about how much weight you have lost to win woman of the year it is presented to someone who has inspired others helps out at class helps others etc so I dont see how a before photo has any significance on this award.
