Would you go to exercise class with a cold?

Regular cold, yes. Fever, chills, muscle aches - no.

IME exercise when I have a mild cold helps me feel better!
I was told by my fully qualified personal trainer that if you've got a cold it's not a great idea to do anything too aerobic- it messes with your immune system and is generally not a good idea. Bit of mild exercise a better idea. But it all depends on whether you feel up to it or not really :) xx
