Right firstly sorry to those who think this is too personnal to post, but I dont care cos I am so happy, having been trying to have a baby for over 2 years, and having about 5 periods in that time (due to weight doctor says with slight PCOS) and not having one for ages and ages - I started last night - so even though I am in pain with cramps I am so happy happy happy that stone I have lost is making a difference with my body already :D

I may have a long way to go still but its a big boost for me

I struggled to have children and it's funny things that like that that do make you happy. I was in terrible pain every time I ovulated but I was so happy cos it meant I had a chance to get pregnant. The losing weight definately ,makes a diff so that is a brill motivation for you.

Thats brilliant. A little story for you. My friend has a 7 year old son and sicne he was 1 she was trying to get pregnant but had put on so much weight. Anyway when he was 4 she decided to diet, lost 4 stone and fell pregnant immediately...had another boy and when he was 11 months, pregnant again and just hada girl last week. Keep up with the losign weight, it will do your body the world of good, and u want to be healthy when pregnant anyway, so its all a step in the right direction xx

I have pcos and this is the only type of diet I can succeed at. I was lucky enough to be slim and able to conceive (20 years ago!) but once I'd gained the weight the symptoms kicked in and I've battled ever since. Losing weight relives the symptoms so keep at it :)

That's brilliant news and I hope you continue to see more and more regular periods as you continue to lose weight. It's amazing how much effect the extra weight has on our overall health isn't it?
Good luck CC
