You can with the Dukan!!! - Julia's Diary

Having been a religious follower of the Cambridge Diet, losing 6 stone originally, then putting it all back on and losing up to 3 stone at a time then yo yoing back up and down, I've decided to take a different approach and try to see if Dukan will do the trick. It has been my first day today after a great deal of reading and investigation. My menu is as follows:

Bfast: Oatbran Porridge, Boiled Egg
Snack: Muller Yog
Lunch: 2 chicken breasts wrapped in
ham, orange sf jelly
Snack: More Jelly
Dinner: Steak, 1/4 of an onion for flavour,
muller yog

Have done 30 mins of dancing and knocking back the liquids.

Really feel motivated although feeling a little tired. Hoping that will go in the next few days.

A bit about me, I'm 31, a teacher in Cambridge, recently single and looking for a kick up the ass and to do good things for myself. This being number 1!!

Hi and welcome! All looking good (ham lowest fat, yes). At your current weight, you can eat far more protein if you're hungry... How many days' attack are you planning on doing?

Hi Maintainer, I've got the tesco wafer thin one, it was the lowest fat I can find there. Yes, I will be packing in the protein. I have no plan to go hungry at all! I plan to do 6 days of attack, as advised on the Dukan website. You think that sounds ok?

Six days at your current weight is good... you'll get a great kick off and you'll be READY for some veg on day 7. Alternating PV and PP days from there on is good as it helps alleviate potential boredom.

How are you finding it? Not too hungry? If ever you are hungry, remember you can eat protein freely...
