you should see the size of my scallions...

#1
A couple of months back I decided to have a go at growing my one vegetable patch...

I planted scallions, cabbages, brocolli, variety of lettuces, leeks, parsley and rosemary.

I was just out watering my plants and vegetables and I am so amazed at how massive all my vegetables are now!! They look so healthy and fresh and lovely... hmmmm.... letttttuccccee...

Anyway... I am going to be on LT for at least another 8 weeks. So do i have to give away all my vegetables? Or will they still be alive and healthy in 8 weeks? Or should i give this lot away and is it ok to plant more so that I have more for when i can eat salads again?

So weird having lettuce in the garden and actually not being allowed to eat it. lol

answers on a postcard please - im new to vegetable growing...

ps. does anyone want to cut my grass??

lots of love

Julzie, Julzie,
Sexy & coolzie,
How does your lady garden grow ?

Top brassica work from you lady - I love brocoli & leeks :D (you can keep the cabbage mind).

I love eating home-grown veg - especially my Nan & Grandads summer salads :D

Give it away to friends & family - they'll love you for it :D

We will have to nickname you Percy Thrower if you carry on. I keep saying to OH about growing our own fruit & veg, but still haven't got round to it. Then again im glad we haven't yet as i would be out in the garden picking all the time, and thats no good at the mo.
Regarding your grass, that will have to be a no im afraid, ive only just finished mine this weekend, takes me forever, got 3/4 of an acre.

Hehehe feels fab doesnt it...i have recently planted my own too...Luckily they will not be ready until i reach target hopefully!
Yeah, i would give em away to friends etc and plant some more then you can have luch vegs in a few months when you are at target!
I would also plant some herbs, thyme, basil,coriander...smells lush in the garden and tastes great added to food for flavour without the cals ...and it will all be lovely and big for your target xxx
hehe employ your self a hunky gardener hun.... i hate cutting grass...i would rather pay someone to do it, while i watch them and chill xx
