zero carb sweets

I bougt some aniseed twists from the lcm website, they say on there they are zero carb, but i see on the pack it says carbs 98.1 of which sugars nil, polyols 98.1, so how come they are zero carb i was looking forward to having them when i babysquish,

im going to ring them later and speak to them, they are the first thing listed in the zero carb section of their very popular site, and in the product info there they say zero carb, probably cost more to send them back lol

you have to deduct the polyols from the carbs , they do not affect blood sugar , hence 0 g net carbs

Polyols do give you a very runny tummy though. Recommended no more than 15-20g of them a day.

i bought some pear drops that are zero carbs from our local market today. and i had two and they raced thru me like the grand national

I made this mistake years ago when I did atkins with boots toffees.. 6g per sweet... whoooooops!!
