    Running

Yes, build it up bit by bit. Trainers are the only main thing to purchase, so it's dead cheap to run. Try and join a running club. I find it helps to have people to run with...it keeps me motivated, and I have had so much support from the coaches.

    Chips

I've not tried, but often make 'chips' out of parsnips. :)

Exercise-what motivates you to do it?

I run for an hour six days a week at the moment. It started off being a little bit of jogging and mainly walking, and I have gradually built it up and joined a running group. I find that if I miss one day of training I feel very sluggish and lazy, which I hate! I also hate letting people down...

Stopping the yoyo and shedding half a stone.....

This really worked for me. But instead of concentrating on not eating certain foods I concentrated on eating 5 fruit and veg a day. Fitting these in meant I didn't have much space for much 'bad' foods. It's really interesting reading back and seeing what I've eaten. Good luck! :)

    What are you reading?

Try anything by Jodi Picoult...Nineteen Minutes is amazing!

    Thinspiration - aka Thinspo

Again, I associate 'thinspiration' with pro-anorexia sites. I'm a high school teacher and one of my form (age 14) has just been diagnosed with anorexia. Her parents had seen her looking at pro-a sites and within a few months she has lost stones and is looking awful. She is now in therapy...

    'cheat days'

Yes, I agree. Every once in a while is good. Otherwise I know I end up having a binge because I've deprived myself of certain foods. I never plan a cheat day, but if I go out with friends I allow myself a bit of leeway. Just as long as it's not a very regular thing.

    Cutting out Bread and Potatoes

I've not tried it, but I can't imagine it's very healthy for you at all, and once you re-introduce them to your diet the weight will jump back on.

    Best Distraction Books?

I was a bit like that with the Twilight books (sorry to any non-Twilighters!) but also anything by Jodi Picoult. Especially Nineteen Minutes. Could not put that book down at all!

What is the worst film you've ever seen?

Dude Where's My Car? I tried to watch this years ago, and after twenty minutes with the phrase 'Dude, where's my car?!' used about a hundred times, I switched off!

    Best time to exercise?

Yeah, that's another thing...Sometimes if I've had a long day at work I make excuses to just run for half an hour instead of the normal hour. It seems reasonable in my head at the time, but when I get back I regret it!

    Starting Save & Slim today!

With regards to cravings, I go for a walk and ring my Mum! Or put on some loud music and jump around the room. I figure at least that way, even if I still have cravings for something when I'm done I've already burnt it off!

    Best time to exercise?

When is best to exercise? I normally run about 7pm during the week but 8am at weekends. I just wondered if one was better than the other?...

    Back fat.

What is the best way to lose inches on my back? I am a runner, so quite toned from the waist down, and my abs are OK, but my back is very flabby and I wanted to tone it up and lose a few inches. I'm normally a size 12, and when we ordered bridesmaid dresses for my friend's wedding I ordered a...

    Idea's for a night out???

Very, very, very late reply! But I love going skiing or skating for a random night out with my partner, or just walking along the beach or river and feeding the ducks.

    Hidden veg!

My boyfriend won't eat any vegetables apart from peas!!! He doesn't like the texture of them. Obviously, this isn't very healthy, and it's hassle for me...I love veg and don't wanna miss out! How can I hide them in his meals?!

    Hey!

Hi, I'm starting a serious diet today!!! I used to be a restaurant manager and weigh 9 stone. But unfortunately, since becoming a teacher - (which I'm finding a much less demanding job!) I've gotten lazy and have gone up to 11st 10lbs in the space of a year! I have bought some body fat scales...
