Morning folks, weighed in this morning to a fabulous loss of 5.8 lbs!!!
Over the moon, even on induction i was losing around 2lbs tops, now going to have to think what I've been eating this week compared to others to see if there's something (slightly) stalling
What a great problem to have!!!
Hey guys, I bought some of these carb free sweets to have whilst at work, rather than be tempted with something else too sweet.
Are they disagreeing with anyone else?
(Erm, I mean like wind... painful belly wind??)
I do know that overconsumption results in a laxative effect (nice), but I...
Weighed in this morning, lost 3 lb!!!:D:D:D
Happy at that, had put on 2 lb last week (but still lost inches - started doing the 30 day shred) so I'm really noticing a difference now
Such a motivational boost
I was on a stall aswell, but I also keep a measure of my waist, hips thighs and arms.
I had started exercising more (30 day shred) and although I actually gained 2 lbs, I've lost over an inch on all my measurements....
Might be it if you are a regular exerciser?
Never knew of this site.......... think I'll buy myself some goodies, put some more variety into my eating.
Anyone have any particular little gems they love?
Just noticed this thread.
I'm on Day 16, now level 2
I can really feel this working, and my god I was sore on the first 3 days. It does get a lot easier though.
The only thing Im finding is the repetitiveness of the same workout every day.
I keet relling myself it's only 20 minutes though...
Hey folks, been lurking around here a bit.
I returned to Atkins a few weeks ago after struggling with calorie control and the constant hunger it brings!!
Anyhow, I've been doing ok (I have previously lost a fair bit of weight on atkins), losing weight gradually .
Anyway, thought I'd join...
Hi guys, thanks for the advice.
I decided to enjoy myself and not get hung up. Saved plenty calories by being good during the day.
Never bothered with a drink, because of my cold I realy didn't fancy a wine or beer anyway.
Starter was a prawn cocktail, ok the sauce might not be totally...
Hi folks
I'm very early into my "new me" plan, and have the dreaded birthday on Wednesday. We all know what goes with this, "Let's go out for dinner", "Here, have a drink", "oh, I bought you a cake!"
I have already been railroaded into having dinner with friends tomorrow night. My mum...
Hi Breadbin
Thanks for the welcome!
First real day of me struglling, got a cold, therefore won't be swimming this week, and it's so easy just to stuff your face when you're feeling under the weather.
However, I am remaining tough, the food tracker on here means I have to justify things...
Hi Shelz, thanks for the welcome
I think the monthly weighing is a good idea.
I did actually weigh in first thing this morning for the my fitness pal calculations ( i had estimated my weight before, was 0.4lb out - scarily good guess!!)
Think I'll weigh in fortnightly, with my photos 1 month...
Having just paid off a loan, i have spare cash now so am saving up for a good holiday.
We are thinking of the "3 city break" - Vegas, LA, San Fran, over 10 days
Gives me something to motivate myself with and something to look forward to.
American History X is really quite brutal.
It centres round 2 brothers in LA. The older one (Ed Norton) has just been released from prison for a racialy aggrivated murder.
It follows him telling his young brother his journey in prison and how he is turning his back on his former Neo-Nazi...
Hi folks,
I've recently got back in the pool too.
Used to be a decent swimmer, but was def a bit rusty after years on dry land!!
My local pool is a 25m pool, When I started with 40 lengths (1 km)
I'm now trying for 50 lengths in a session.
Trying to get down a bit more regularly too, a...
I am a semi-console fan
Currently have a wii, but it really is gathering dust. Fed up with it. (Doesn't help that the dog chewed the nun-chuck and I've not replaced it yet....)
Tempted with the PS3 as it doubles up as a blueray player......
Tough to pick just one
If I had to, it'd probably be Silence of the Lambs
Among my favourites are Trainspotting,American History X, Shawshank Redemption
Lol
I'm a bit of a US pace viewer too, (especially Lost and Dexter!!)
But am watching True Blood on FX
Was shocked to see the actor who plays Bill was English!! I really thought he was American
If you are looking for an exercise options, swimming is ideal as the water supports your weight, reducing the stress on joints etc
I've just started swimming again and really enjoying it
Wow, well done!!
You must be so pleased to see the change!!
Without wanting to sound cheeky, you look younger now.
Keep it up, you're doing a great job!!
Thanks Amy
I can tell this site is going to be such a big help!!
I'm looking forward to the summer already, nicer weather so I can take the dog on extra long walks. Can be bitterly cold out on the beach by the time I get in from work.
Hopefully by the time the summer comes a light jog won't...
I bought nutrional scales in lidl last week
£8.99 I think they were and I think they are fantastic.
If you don't have scales then there's definately a worse £9 you could spend!
Thanks!
Yeah, I'm feeling good as an old pair of jeans that were getting just a little tight fit me better now, so I'm judging myself on that sort of thing.
Maybe when I drop a size or two I might use the scales, but until then I'd rather not know lol
Feeling focussed though and I REALLY...
It all depends on your current weight and height, however, they say to maintain the same weight, a woman should eat 2000 calories.
I'm counting calories just now and try to stick to 1500.
I find 1500 manageable and by eating the correct foods can go through the day without a hungry feeling
Hi folks, just found this place and think it's wonderful already. Been reading posts and think this is a great place for help and support.
A brief outline on me...
30 next week and, truth be told, I've never been as big as I am now. (I don't know how much I weigh, I've made a point of not...
