I expected a slight gain, but not 6lbs!! I don't even know how it's possible to gain that in 1 week!!!! I'm aiming to loose it ALL this week though. Being 100%...although someone told me that it's best to keep your syns up to about 10, so i'm having a finger of kit kat and a small bag of crisps...

Hi Sammy, did you happen to take measurements? If not take them right now and keep up the exercise and measure in a month.
Also when you exercise, you tend to retain water in muscles whilst they repair. So it can be a false reading xx

I 100% understand that! I've got my driving test today and my eating has been all over the place. Stress for me equals my body crying out for buttery toast!!

Be 100% honest with yourself and think if there is a reason. If not it may just be one of those nasty weeks where we get gains for no reason.

I think that is very possible, 2lbs a week is a good weekly goal.
If you arent keen on salad or veg, try having a fresh fruit salad after or before a meal.
I've lost 6.5 in two weeks, so your target is totally achievable :)
I thought it was if you had attended WI the previous week, and lost in the current week....but i'm not sure :-/ you could be right actually as in my 1st weigh in (but 2nd attendance) i should have got the slimmer of the week, but instead a lady with a 0.5lb loss recieved it :-/

Hi there, I'm no expert; but from reading it seems that you are missing out on your 1/3 super free with each meal. Eg have a large salad with your jacket potato, and maybe swap the cheese for beans or tuna? Little adjustments will make an amazing result.

I also make it from my partner and son, and they still tend to have the juices to flavour their rice and salad, and we all like the hot and spicy flavouring :-) when i'm making it just for me i do use less, waste not want not and all that ;-)

It really is a battle, i decided to just get some dark chocolate and i've broken it up into cubes in a sandwich bag in my fridge, when the need gets too much i'll nibble on a cube...i'm finding the dark chocolate is more satisfying when i can have less. But no more than 1 cube a day....i think...
I suppose it helps that i've been having about 7 syns a day rather than reaching 15. But OMG yes, completely avoiding ginger beer!! I'm now a vodka and diet mixer girl!!

Hi rach, I've been taking orlistat for about 12 weeks, I initially had side effects, but Ive learnt what not to eat now! So I only take them when something is higher in fat, I've been eating lots of beans and pulses with veg so the fat content is really very low. And I'm seeing results :-)

I've decided I need a public diary as I keep eating high fat foods. I've been doing so so well, but I'm on half term from college and just pigged out! Indian take out, mcD happy meal, 2 bbqs where I didn't eat the grilled chicken and rice I planned on, instead I munched on burgers, kebab sticks...
Ps I've been having peanut butter spread b thinly on bread I know its over 5g per 100g but when askin my dietician he didn't mention 5/100 just that it was 45g per day!! (and I love PB&J sandwiches after the gym!)

Yes, rather bad! I've no idea why as i'm well within my fat limit per day! But (TMI ALERT) when passing wind there is excess oil! Which can be embaressing!! I don't understand why, but my dietician did say that the side effects can have different effects on everyone. It's just really not very nice!!

Generally, breakfast is cereal with skimmed milk, lunch is something like beans on toast/jacket pot or pasta with a tomatoe sauce or reggae reggae sauce and a chopped slice of ham and then tea is varied, veg with chicken breast, peri peri chicken with brown or white boiled rice. Thats my average...
No idea today, maybe just cereal for breakfast....beans on toast for lunch and then pasta in tomoato and mushroom sauce for tea. . . . i was going to have a treat evening but since i forgot my tablets yesterday :-/ ........

I cook the rice and stir in chopped up veg and then mix in the bought peri peri sauce - it doesn't taste as good but it's as close as i know how to get! Have you tried googling it? If you find anything please post!
