Can any-one recommend a good low cal cookery book? Also, am I missing it somewhere or is there no recipes thread on this forum unlike the other forums?

I could just do with some inspiration on new meals to cook, what are every-ones favourite low cal meals?

Thanks

Caroline

I've put a few recipes and ideas in my diary. At the moment, I'm rather fond of proscuitto baked in the oven for a few minutes on a mixed salad with a couple of quails eggs. It gets you through that bacon & eggs longing on surprisingly few calories ;)

Doing beef in a roast pepper sauce for tonight and tried cajun crayfish for the first time earlier in the week. I enjoy cooking, so that helps a lot on this sort of diet!

and low fat??

101 Low-Fat Feasts by BBC Good Food Magazine is brilliant. Most mains are around 350kcal or less, and it's quite a cheap little book.

Oooh i shall have a look! :) thanks!
