    Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer

Hi all, Does anyone happen to know the PP value of this fiery nectar of the gods? I have looked for info online but all I have found is that it has 0 protein, 0 fat, 0 fibre and 35 carbs, which works out at 4pp on my calculator but I think that is too good to be true! I gather you can't...

    December Challenge

Yes please! With two work events, my birthday, the birthday of a close friend, a catch up dinner with old colleagues, Christmas and NYE I don't want to be too ambitious and set myself up for a fall, so will go for 4lb! Irene 4 lbs Sucette 4 lbs

    November Challenge

Hope everyone's Novembers have been good despite the chilly weather, it makes me want to eat loads of stew and dumplings. I had a bit of a yo-yo month, first I put on 1lb, then lost 4.5, then put on 1.5, then lost 3.5 in the last weigh in of the month! I would rather it was a consistent down...

Pro points in a cadburys creme egg?

Oh my, that's early and I am overjoyed! I love these bad boys. The creme egg twister bar is just not the same. I managed to restrict my consumption this year as my teeth just couldnt take the sugar overload, but I will certainly be spending a few weekly points on these over the next months. 6...

I love the gingerbread latte, never ever go into starbucks but am tempted by this after having one last year. I am going to get one as a birthday treat, but am surprised they are not higher!

    Terrified of weigh in

I have my weigh in on Saturday and I am bricking it! Tempted to just not go but I know as soon as I miss one I will be well and truly off the wagon. I gained 1.5lbs on my first week of ProPoints, and I am convinced I haven't done too well this week either, I have tried eating less and eating...

    pro points

Hi, I gained in my first week too. I was pretty bummed - I was good and stayed on plan, but I did use pretty much all of my points. I'm not keen on the idea of cutting my points because all through my life I have eaten too much, apart from a brief period where I ate far too little, so I have...

Inexplicable gain on 1st week of ProPoints

Thank you guys for all your sensible thoughts! I am sticking to PP again this week with gusto and will see how it goes. I also happen to be off work this week so have a bit more time to sit down and get my head around it (plus have bacon and eggs for breakfast :D). Size102b, you speak so...

    zero pp

My leader says it's free "in moderation". Not knowing what moderation is is the reason I am at WW in the first place! I think the idea is you don't eat bananas until you are sick, but don't have to count it if you pluck for a free food instead of a Galaxy Caramel. I have a sneaking suspicion...

Christmas goal list Updated 4 weeks to go :) xx

Good luck everyone! I love Christmas so much, and it's also my birthday the Sunday before so have lots of parties and things coming up, and would love to look and feel much better than last Christmas. I am currently 11st 10 and would really like to get to 11st 3 by the last weigh in before...

Those who have put on weight with pp

I don't measure myself but I think I will start. I don't feel like I have lost about 11 pounds overall, but I have a couple of dresses which I couldn't even do up before I started, and now they fit like a glove so something is working. I have been a bit disappointed with PP so far (gained in...

Inexplicable gain on 1st week of ProPoints

I had my weigh in today and I put on 1.5 lbs :cry:i am seriously miffed, cause I actually stuck to the plan (or "embraced" it as they kept saying...). I forgot about old Points, weighed my food, counted everything. I even used a ProPoint calculator, whereas before I just used to use the chart in...

    November Challenge

after last week's catastrophe where I gained 1lb, I lost 4.5 this week (god only knows, went out for malaysian one day, gourmet burgers the next, made an amazing irish stew last weekend...) so net loss of 3.5lbs for the month so far :) Hope everyone is doing well Bridezilla 8lbs CherrySummer...

Finally will get new plan (Saturday)

My meeting was heaving too today, I dont understand why people pay £5 or whatever a week and then talk amongst themselves during the meeting  makes me mad. I was the first one there though so luckily didnt have to queue. I hope the numbers dwindle a bit over the next few weeks. I feel...

Heh yea, my brother is buying a box of Celebrations every weekend even though we don't really have anything particular to celebrate :o I'm trying to just say no! Haven't started on the new plan yet but looking forward to it, i've been avoiding fruit this week for some reason (a couple of...

    My Scales are shocking!

My scales do that too! I have a bog standard laminate floor so it should be ok, but i can step off, step on again and the difference would be massive. I'm annoyed about it cause i spent about £30 on them! They have one of those body fat zappers as well and the readings on that are even more...

    Lunch ideas for the office?

I have the same problem, it's so hard to make an imaginative packed lunch! Do you like cous-cous? if so you could boil up some water, pour it on the cous cous, season with herbs/spices and throw in a bit of chopped veg etc. Maybe a bit of cold lean meat as well

Thanks for your kind and motivating words, guys! It helps and makes me feel less like a weird emotional mad woman (just a tad less, mind). Margarino, a great idea :D My thing that went well today was I dug out some old WW magazines and picked out some lovely recipes, some I have never tried...

    I failed

I had my weigh in this morning and I have put on a pound :( and I know exactly why, I only have myself to blame. This week was basically a catalogue of disasters, and I was too weak and lazy to deal with some hurdles that came my way. First off, I did not plan my meals properly and I did...

How long is each meeting ?

My meetings are weigh-ins followed by discussion, all in all it takes about 50 minutes-1 hour. If you're pushed for time you can just go to get weighed and not bother with the meeting, but I find the discussion part very useful :)

    Snacking problems?!?!

I haven't calculated but the ingredients are literally chopped red chillies and vinegar, so I imagine it is free. Plus, it's so spicy you only need a tiny amount so the calories must be negligible! It's supposed to be used during cooking rather than for dipping but I like to try and make my...

    Snacking problems?!?!

I love options too! I like the new ones they have brought out, a little bit creamier (I think they work out at 2 points though), the chocolate brownie one is my favourite. As a savoury snack I like raw carrot dipped in this thing I got from sainsbury's called "very lazy chilli", which is...

    Best of Barcelona

I lived there for a few months a few years ago, lovely place. I can highly recommend Montserrat for a day trip if you are there for a good while and fancy a day trip out of the city, it takes about an hour by train from Espanya train station, I think, and you then take a cable car or funicular...

    Over points today

I'm the same, had a blow out on monster munch (18 packs for £1.50 in sainbury's! i couldnt resist...), had two packs which took me over, then randomly ate a tortilla wrap with nothing on it as well, which didnt even taste nice and was a waste of a couple of extra points. But I shall turn the...

Convincing myself I like Pepsi Max

ugh Pepsi Max is foul, far far too sweet. My mum insists on buying it though, horrendous. Diet Cherry Coke is my favourite but also partial to a bit of Diet Coke with lime, or the original Diet Coke. I used to be a staunch fan of fat Coke but can't bear it now. A waiter bought some to my by...

    New to this board!

Haha thanks. And thanks for the luck! I am taking it slow this time, but slow and steady wins the race as they say. I had my third weigh-in on saturday and have lost half a stone, it turns out. I really don't feel like it! But it's encouraging. It all seems a bit too easy at the moment...

The magazine is great :D It's the thing that got me into WW in the first place. It also has decent articles on wellbeing, exercise and stuff, and the usual women's magazine...

    Weightwatchers - Changing ??

I'm in two minds about this. Ive found WW good for me because it limits what I eat and makes me be more sensible with my portions. I worry that more points will make me go out of control, or paranoid that I am eating too much, even if the new points have no correlation with the current ones...
