02/01/15 Starters! Whoes with me????? :)

Isis-I want to lose 3-4 stone. I am probably drinking about 3.5 litres of water a day. xx

Ok. Are you exercising a lot? I hear that can slow things down. In any other diet, your loss would be amazing. We just want more on this diet.

Haha-no not doing any exercise at all! When I did LL I didn't do any exercise either and lost a stone a month. I admit I was younger then!. I know you are absolutely right Isis that 9lbs is good but you are also right that we do expect more because we have done similar diets before. I just really want to get to the stone in a month. Maybe I need to drink more water! xx

I haven't been exercising other than walking either.

I drink a lot if green and peppermint tea. Not sure if it's helping at all lol

Maybe you have a whoosh coming! When we are barely eating, we do want to see big drops at the scales. That's normal xxx

Sounds like cleaning is the thing to do lol.. I did some on Thursday night. Keeps you busy doesn't it and away from the fridge!

I hate housework though, it's never ending as well... :eek:
 
I do get a satisfaction at looking at a clean house after it is all done though. Might try and fit in a bit of window shopping for the future, you know what I mean ;) xx
 
Evening Team Exante!

Housework Central here tomorrow! My OH is making a DVD for his daughters 18th birthday - a compilation of lots of old video clips and photos of her life so far, with music from the different years. He did one for his eldest when she was 18 and it took him forever. Typical of him he's left this to the last minute - she's 18 a week on Tuesday - so he's locking himself away to work through it.

I've got some home projects to do - I have a couple of old chairs I want to Annie Sloan paint.

Just need to keep busy to avoid food thoughts!
 
Morning Losers. I was thinking about setting us a challenge for February - we each set ourselves a goal for total February loss and update our results each week. What do you all think? Whatever day you weigh in we should all have 4 weigh ins in Feb. So come 1st Feb it would be like this...

Sparkley: goal 10lb lost so far 0lb still to lose 10lb

Smidge: ?
Moisy: ?
Jayne: ?

Etc...


Just add your name to list and your Feb goal then cut and paste to update each week.

Hi Sara - bought these scales! Haven't set up the fat/water bit yet but pleased to see on these new scales I weigh 7lb less than on my old scales! Thanks for the recommend x
 
I am in! I love goal challenges. My body have lost any weight for 5 days though. But I am looking slimmer. Feel like having a fall out with my metabolism lol
 
Glad you're in Isis! In setting up my new scales this morning I had to get on my old to compare weights... Was 4lb heavier than official weigh on Weds. Have been good so can only be the fact that I normally weigh at 6 am and today weighed at 11am, plus had already had 2 pints of water and a bar. Like you tho, I do feel slimmer today so hoping that by Wednesday I will show a loss. Good news is new scales weigh 7lb lighter Than my 20+ year old ones!! So on weds I'll weigh on old scales for an accurate weekly loss, then weigh on new as a new starting point. Old scales will be relegated as emergency spare scales!

I'm in too! I want/need to lose 14lb in Feb.

Was going great guns til last night. Woke up coughing and OH fed me cough syrup before I knew it and now kicked out of ketosis...grrr.

Hope your all well, I have spent the morning building flat pack furniture and putting clean bedding on everyone's beds! I just tried making the raspberry and blueberry pancakes, they where a big mess and I chucked them in the bin! Roll on 5:30 for a chilli!!! Xx
 
Yay to 7lbs less on the new scales! I need some new precision scales. Mine are doing my head in!

Fab!! I was heavier when I got mine lol but it's nice to see the % of water fat ect.
