1/3rd rule.

Just had a read through the f and q's on slimming world online.
It says there is no need to add 1/3rd superfree to a healthy extra meal since there is already control built in.
It also says that the 1/3rd rule on extra easy is not mandatory but encouraged.

Hmmm, totally confused now!
 
Our consultant says a third of the plate should be superfree, but if I have a meal where it isn't I don't tend to worry too much. My husband eats very little in the way of fruit and veg and still loses without problem.
 
I remember reading on the site that you only need to apply 1/3 superfree where it makes sense too, not on every meal. So If you were having something that you wouldn't usually have a load of veg or salad with you don't need to bother (maybe something like curry and rice or something). Half the time group and the site seem to contradict each other.
