im getting there, hoping to catch up on the days that i missed over the weekend. so i need to get cracking.

i will be having a session on the wii fit tonight so im sure i will be able to get another good lot in! :)
 
Hi all, how are you all doing with challenge? I have to say I am loving it. Ran on the treadmill for the first time in 2 weeks and it felt odd- I've finally converted to an outside jogger. Did 5 km this morning, doing sprinting and recovering, and then managed only 2.8 k this evening. I convert that to 4.8 miles (not good at the maths so could be mistaken!) Was aching yesterday from the run on sunday- all those hills were very tough on wee (or big) me!!

i did a session on the wii fit, and did it wil my new heart rate monitor and it counts the calories. and it was pretty spot on so thats good to know!!!

i wanna try it out on other things as well :)

Did 3.51 miles today.

My plan was to do 3.33 miles a day to enable me to complete the challenge. We are on day 9 now.. so should have done 29.97! I am behind (I shouldn't have taken yesterday off!)

it. M. of 2- you are doing fine, a little extra every day and you'll be back on track- we all need days off!

well i ran around 8-8.5 in 54 mins, then had to wait for the girl I'm jog with (which is awful cos ur legs cool down too much, hard to start again) then did the next 7.1 in 55- she had an waful stitch so within that there was a lot of running on the spot. Got stuck at traffic lights at one point-at rush hour of course-had to run on the spot for 4 mins waiting to get across- how dumb must I have looked!!

ive almost caught back up to date. so chuffed with that, considering i didnt have any chance to do any over the weekend....

im broken now though.... treadmill probly is too! lol
 
Is it too late to join this challenge? I know I'm a bit late but if I'm allowed to retro clock what I've done in June (I keep a mileage log anyway as I run regularly) I'll only be a little bit behind? I'd love a challenge to keep me on track and help shift the lbs.

If I'm allowed to join, here's my mileage to date for June:

1 Rest
2 3 miles
3 Rest
4 3 miles
5 Rest
6 3 miles
7 6 miles
8 Rest
9 6 miles

total 21 miles, leaving me 79 more to complete in 21 days, an average of 3.76 miles a day. Allowing for a rest day once a week, that's 18 days which is an average of 4.38 miles. Do you think this is too much? I'm a regular runner but don't want to sustain an injury.

you dont have to do the full 100 miles maybe do the equiv of 100km
