Hi guys! :)

Well I've just been for my first weigh in and I've lost 5lbs. :confused:

I know any loss is good, but I have to say I was hoping for more, especially given what the tape measure was telling me!

Still, it's over the 3.5 lbs per week I'd need to lose to achieve a stone in a month, so we'll see what next week brings. I'm not going to let it put me off anyway.

Hey D2P, dont be down hearted 5 lbs is still a good loss, make sure you drink plenty of water ( 2- 3 ltrs at least) and you can start a little exercise if you'd like to aid your loss next week - i'll add your total to the Wednesday WI Club and look forward to a healthy weightloss next week :D:D

Well done!! Dont worry 5lbs is a great loss:party0011: what time of the day did you get weighed? had you been drinking lots of water or had your shakes? did you wear the same clothes as last WI. is it your totm? all these could have a factor in how much you have lost.
It really is a great start though, how many other diets could lose so much weight in 1 week!!

Well done!! Dont worry 5lbs is a great loss:party0011: what time of the day did you get weighed? had you been drinking lots of water or had your shakes? did you wear the same clothes as last WI. is it your totm? all these could have a factor in how much you have lost.

I weigh at 6pm as the chemist is on the way home from work. I wore exactly the same clothes as last week! And I've been drinking 4 litres a day and not even slightly cheated!

However, I am due on TOTM at the end of the week, so the pharmacist said it could be that.

I know I really shouldn't moan cos it is the most I've ever lost in a week... I'm just impatient really! :eek: I tried very hard not to have expectations but obviously I did anyway! :rolleyes:

Am sticking with it though! :)

I just want it all off now! i think totm will definitely effect weight loss, also i think all the water you drink through the day may show on the scales (especially when it's swishin round your belly!!)
but at the end of the day 5lb is still really chuffin good

You guys.....5lbs...3lbs All great losses. Nic had a fab aviator which showed what 1lb of fat looks like...now times that by 3 or 5.....its LOADS. Well done.

Hey hun...fab loss and tbh if the inches are dropping who cares about the scales.. you lost MEGA inches this week!!!!!
5lb is a brill loss and one worth shouting about ....do you know it takes 3,500 cals to burn 1lb of PURE fat!!! thats a 35mile run
And heres that pic shaz was talking about

You're right of course! That is a lot to lose when you look at it like that. In fact, it's more than I weighed when I was born! :D :eek:
