2 weeks done - Thursday weigh-in - 5lbs down!!

After a difficult start (only losing 1 lb after a week of being 100%), I am now down 5lbs after 2 weeks, and that is with a bit of a cheat last Saturday - went for dinner and had a bit of a curry (was very controlled) and 2 glasses of wine, which to be honest made me feel ill and I certainly didn't want the second glass, just had it out of politeness.

About the wine - I am normally a bit of a wine lady, can easily polish off a bottle in an evening - very bad I know and probably one of the reasons I've gained weight and need this diet in the first place, let alone the effect on my health. Anyway, I've felt so incredibly great not drinking at all over the last 2 weeks (minus the one blip), so motivated and full of energy - I guess that's a combination of no alcohol + Ketosis. I even managed to clear out my cellar (one of those things on the very long to-do list) the other night, after working a full day in the office, picking up my 4-year old from nursery, cooking her dinner and doing the whole bedtime routine. I am normally exhausted by that point, which is when I tend to have my first glass and just park myself on the sofa. But no, I cleaned out the cellar, took me 3 hours.

This diet is great, it works, and it makes you feel so much better!
