Step 1 Sole Source 2013 - the year I become slim

Lol! Thankyou, I am not an expert though, just done this once before and researched it so much this time round that I literally dream about it! Speaking of dreams, I dreamt my partner ordered a Dominoe's last night and I ate it all 'forgetting' I was on plan. Then afterwards I cried and cried and cried hahaha! I think it was my subconscious letting me know that if I was to cheat it would devastate me lol!

And you dont have to thank me for the advice! If I can help anyone at all then I will be a very happy girl. I still need all the help I can get!

Omg, I love the choc and choc mint shakes. They were all I had for the first two weeks because I also hate the soups and porridge but now I am past week 2, I also have the peanut&caramel and lemon yoghurt bars. Today was the first time I have tried the lemon yoghurt bars and they are amazeballs! I wrote in my diary today that they are a total mouthgasm haha! x

Well it is officially my first proper day today with my consultant! Saw her this morning and have my 21 mint choc shakes!! Haha. I have actually tried the yogurt bar and I hated it!! My consultant was shocked cause she said everyone loves them! Glad to hear they are making you happy!
I weighed in on her scales at 13.12!! I weighed myself Monday morn and was exactly 14! So looks like I lost a couple of pounds already! I'm going to start fresh from today though at 13.12! Target is 10st
Checked my ketosis stick this morn and im now in ketosis!! For some reason makes me happy when I see that! I feel like it must be working! Done some toast for my little boy this morn and it smelt amazing! But I keep thinking of my weigh in next week! She is weighing me Tuesday night as she is going on holiday for one week.
Are you still in the zone? I really feel I am at the moment!
Just got to try and keep busy.
I can't read your diary from my phone for some reason, I can't see the link! So will have to have a look on my laptop.

Well done on your first 5 days! Everyone seems great on here! It's very inspiring! I'm on my third day today and not cheated once! Really want to do this! I feel like a different person already just knowing I'm not putting more weight on!!

It was such a strange dream! Lol! Thats brilliant that you have already lost. Start a fresh at 13st12lbs but at the end of your journey make sure you count those extra 2lbs that you lost as you still lost them and you should take credit for that, you worked hard for them!

I am still well and truly in the zone lol I am happy you are too!

Well done on your 3 lb loss this week! You have done so well! It's great that your still totally into the diet! Just been catching up with your diary. I had a sneaky peek at the scales this morn and looks like I have lost another 2 lbs!! My scales can be out sometimes so not getting too excited yet! Still feel like diet going really well but must admit felt a bit fed up with myself last night when I was cooking children's and husbands dinner! I could have had the lot! And keep wondering why I keep doing this to myself and why I put all the weight back on!! What you just put on your diary about going to that party and not actually wanting the nice food was great and your so right that you have got to change your whole relationship with food! So true because otherwise we will get to target be the same as we were and be back to square one again! I have defiantly got to change the way I am! A pure example of how my mind works is in about 5 weeks we have a weekend away at a caravan park and instead of thinking about eating healthy I keep thinking how I should be allowed fish and chips and fried breakfasts and ice creams!! And that why shouldn't I if I'm on holiday! But really I should be thinking holidays are not just about food and what's wrong with a nice chicken salad! And feel pleased with myself!! That weekend will be a total tester of what I'm going to do!! If I don't change then this will not be forever! BUT i am going to change!
Sorry to go on! It's nice to talk to people that are going through the same thing!
Are you looking forward to buying new clothes? I can't wait to go round the shops and pick up smaller sizes and try them on and love them! That's my big aim!! Then to go out with my friends and feel nice for once!
Not long and we will be 12 something!! How exciting! That's my first goal!!

This plan really is as mentally challenging as it is physically! Once you are over that hurdle and you start to look at the diet in a positive light rather than a negative light then it becomes easy to deal with! I found it hard to cook for the family at first and always kept thinking, if I could eat now, then there wouldn't be any food left lol! But now when cooking or at parties etc rather then thinking 'oh look at what I am missing out on' I think 'oh look at how many calories my body is missing out on' therefore getting smaller! Also, I keep saying to myself 'the next time I eat something I have been missing, I will be slim!' It is really helping me. Try not to consider yourself as missing out because once your reach goal, all those foods will still be out there, but you will be lovely and slim and can then have those food in moderation with a totally different mind set!

As for holiday goes, its totally up to you what yo do about it. Do you take a whole week off from plan and this was a pre planned holiday (and possibly undo 1/2 weeks work) or do you stay on plan but maybe move up a few steps so you can have a lovely family meal in the evening or even a breakfast in the morning. Im sure if you compromise and still work the plan into your holiday then you will come back with at least a maintain and how amazing will that feel?

If it was me, I would probably order 2 products a day for the week of holiday. And chose wether I had breakfast (and i would allow myself full english, but I would ask for poached eggs, grilled bacon, brown bread etc because lets face it, that would still taste phenomenal!) or lunch or dinner each day. So I'd have 2 products and one meal each day. That would mean you are still definitely taking part in the holiday because food does play a bit part in socialising but you are still in control! And will hopefully come home with maybe a small gain but probably a maintain!!!

You will feel too good about your new body to want to stuff your face!!! Ok inevitably we are going to have bad foods every once in a while once finished on CWP, but I know for sure that I am not going to want to undo all my hard work! And I sure as hell know that I WILL NEVER BE FAT AGAIN!!! x

No problem at all my lovely. Funny you say that about me becoming a consultant as when I previously did CWP, my consultant said I should think about it! Back then though I was a full time hair stylist at a salon and also did lots of friends and families hair in my spare time so I couldn't possibly fit it in, but now I am a full time Mummy and I could definitely fit it in when my little girl goes to pre school and later on when she starts school full time. Definitely something I am going to think about!

I used to be the exact same when it came to eating one naughty thing and blowing the whole day out for it! Silly us! Lol! Oh well, we are here now and we will be slim and we will never look back!!! :D

Hello everyone

How are you all getting on?? I'm still getting on very well and now finding the diet much easier! Been on it one week today and get weighed tomorrow! Can't wait to see what I have lost! I feel slimmer in one week!! Stomach defiantly gone down and my face always looks thinner at first when I diet! So feel very happy and just want to do this all the way to goal now!!
Breath bloody disgusting!! Feel really conscious and have cleaned my teeth about 10 times today!! Even my little daughter said today mummy your breath smells!! So that was just great!!! I will have to get some sugar free gum!

Hello Sherrie! How are you? Been reading your diary still to see how things are going with you. Sorry to hear your little girl not been well! Hope the antibiotics is kicking in now! It seems to work pretty quick when they have that.
When is your next weigh in?
I have been having a look the other night at all the before and after pics! They are amazing! What an inspiration they are! Just made me think how that could be me one day!
Do you feel slimmer already? It's mad how quick this diet works! I feel so much different all ready and it's only been one week!! I get weighed Tom evening and will let you know the results!!

I had my WI today I lost 2lb this week, I have written a little paragraph in my diary about it. I am considering moving up a step if my losses stay below 4lb, but we will see how it all goes. I am still happy with that though! A loss is a loss at the end of the day!

The inspirational pics are brilliant motivation arent they! When I see a lady who is just as big or maybe even bigger then me at a size 8/10/12 now, and how little and confident they look, it gives me so much determination to upload MY inspiration before and after pics and be one of those amazing ladies! I definitely feel slimmer, actually I know I am slimmer because my 'old faithful' jeans are too big :D

Im so happy that you are feeling much better now being a week into it, you must be in ketosis :) DEATH BREATH! Lol! Its horrible isn't it! Hahaha!

And your so right on saying if you feel smaller and the inches are coming off then that is fab! I can defiantly see why you are considering the next step if you stay losing that sort of amount each week. It would be worth a try to see if you can eat that bit more but still lose the same sort of weight or more! Like you say see how this week goes with changing the bars and if still the same then go for the next step. It may kick start you again! I have read many posts on here before where people say they lose more if they eat a bit more! Which is crazy! I remember when I done weight watchers and the week I was so strict I lost a pound and the week I had a few treats I lost 3 pounds! So it might be just finding that right amount for you!

I got weighed last night and have lost 7 pounds!! 9 pounds since I started myself!! Also it's time of the month for me and last time I got weighed was morning weight and it was evening weight last night!! Soooo happy! Weighed myself this morn and was 13.3!! On my consultants scales in the evening I was 13.5! So I'm over the moon! Feel so much better already and am hoping so much that next week I will be 12 something!! I'm ready to get on with the next week ahead now!

But I'm back on track now :D hoping I can still get 2 stone off by the time I go on holiday (7 weeks yesterday) and then I will have the holiday damage to repair, before reaching my target, but hopefully no more slips and I can do this in no time :D

Huge well done on your loss Meggy! That is amazing!

Its such an overwhelming feeling of pride and excitement when clothes you would normally wear are now too big! This particular pair of jeans that are now too big are my 'old faithfuls.' I have had them for aaages and they fit me the best, and I felt comfortable in them. Well as comfortable as any fat person can feel haha! I hated clothes shopping so I have a limited amount of clothes that I wore that I felt 'ok' in. But since being on CWP I have already bought a few new tops :p

You will be one of those ladies in the inspirational pics soon! And you dont have far to go really either! Not if your already near the 12s by week 2 :) x x x

Welcome back Miss_C! Wipe the slate clean! Get your head in the game and 7 weeks will fly by, trust me. I am now in week 5 and can't believe it! If you can get to minimins regularly then try do so as we are all here to help you get through it :) Well done for getting back on track too! x x x

I haven't done any before/during/after pics yet but I have got my personal Inspirational Photo in there. Its from when I last did CWP :)

I cant wait to get back to that! I am less then 2st away but it feels like I have so much more to lose visually if that makes sense! It does feel amazing that my clothes are getting bigger, just need to engage it in my head now lol x
 
Sherrie - i just had a look at your inspirational pic!! WOW you look fantastic! and tiny!!! what a perfect picture to make you want to be like that again!! 2 st is nothing! you will get there in no time at all! i know exactly what you mean when you say you feel like you have more to lose than that! i look at myself now and think its going to take me forever but its so surprising how 2st loss makes such an amazing difference! the lucky thing with me is im 5ft 7 and have quite long legs so i can hide my weight quite well!! (not that well - or i wouldnt be doing this!!haha) so hopefully when i reach 10st i will feel great! i did take a before picture on my mobile and i will be taking lots of photos when im at target!! so i might post one if im brave! the thing that im looking forward to doing is being in more photos with my children! i always take the pics and never want to be in them! and if i do ever have them done i usually delete them straight after because i hate them so much! so when im slim im going to be in them all!! I reached the big age of 30 in July last year and always said i don't want to be fat and 30!! and now im nearly 31!! so hopefully by my 31st bday this year i will be happier!!
Cant wait to hear what you lose this week! I love knowing what people have lost! i had a sneaky peak on the scales last night and it doesn't seem to be moving as fast as last week! but i will have to wait and see!!

Thankyou Meg! It definitely is a great way of motivating me because I know I can be slim. Believe it or not I weighed 11st 11lbs there! But I always look slimmer than I weigh if that makes sense. I am heavier than I look lol. I have already lost 20lbs and have another 24lbs to go until I reach that weight, but I cant imagine looking that slim with abother 24lbs off. We will see lol.

You will definitely be looking alot slimmer if you stay SS until July! You have at least another 5 weeks of losing by then and your start weight isn't that high anyway so I think you will be very happy!!! x x x
