2021 Lockdown Lipotrimers

WOW! 9st 7, that is amazing! Of course you should enjoy some time socialising now! Lipotrim is always there to be able to use as a replacement for individual meals even if not total food replacement should you need to. I know it is not meant for that, but the odd shake to balance out the calories occasionally would not hurt. Like you said, you can also work out at the gym, and you will have more energy to do so. So many people this year, including myself are working on self love, I think this whole situation has taught us to appreciate our lives, our bodies and be grateful for what we have and appreciate more the things we didn't in the past. Hope the next two weeks go smoothly, bet you are counting down the days!! How exciting! 5:2 is great, I love intermittent fasting! I use fastic app for that which is great. I just use the free version to record fasts.

Thank you Jess.

I feel more comfortable in myself around 9st-9.7st. On reflection it’s quite sad really as I never had an issue with my weight growing up, I realise now my issue was due to a distorted image of myself (I thought I was big when I was only 9st 🙄). Makes me so sad looking back and remembering how I was so self critical and unkind to myself.

I piled on a lot of weight in 2017 due to stress/anxiety/SSRI medication which was when I got to my biggest at 16st. I started CWP to lose weight, I could’ve got back to my lower weight if I’d stuck with CWP but I didn’t and subsequently did Lipotrim on and off several times to get my weight down (lots of yo-yoing inbetween 🙈). I then did 5:2/SW and got back into the gym in 2019 and eventually got my weight back to 9st ish over last summer lockdown. So I took the scenic route to say the least.

I am on my current Lipotrim stint to undo the weight I gained over this last winter lockdown whereby I was not active at all and overeating 🙈 I did enjoy some of it though 🤭

I guess it’s about finding what works for you and I know I can enjoy food and work a bit harder in the gym if needed to balance things out.

Thank you, I’ll have a look at the app ☺️

I agree with you about perspective and I’ve certainly had some time to reflect and had a reality check on a few things ❤️

It’s funny though isn’t it - I remember people bitching about women who were confident in themselves - I admire it! We all need to be more accepting and kind to ourselves ❤️

Good Evening
I am thinking of starting the lipotrim diet. Are the shakes mixed with water and are they nice to drink? I’m just worried because the flavours are so limited so I’m unsure which to choose and I don’t want to be put off if they don’t taste good 😕

WOW, you have been on a journey! We reached similar peak weights! started off similar weights too! I was also at my happiest around the same weight. My journey sounds similar in terms of the yo yo ing, you can see by my previous Lipotrim attempts, and there has been lots of other diets in between! You have certainly inspired me by getting back to a healthy weight, that must have taken a LOT of hard work, determination and willpower! Well done!! I feel so motivated to do the same now!

So I have two weeks remaining on Lipotrim TFR, then a week of refeed.

I will hopefully be back around 9st 7lb where I feel a bit more comfortable in myself.

In an ideal world I’d keep going on Lipotrim TFR to get down to 9st but I’ve got some social engagements coming up and, after the year we’ve had I’m going to make the most of them 💕 With my gym back open I can have my balance again, enjoying what I’d like and working some of it off in the gym ☺️ I’ll keep myself in check, being mindful of calories and incorporate 5:2.

One reality check I’ve had is weight is important from a health perspective but happiness is also important and I’m going to try and stop being so self critical and be kind to myself and love myself more ❤️
Amazing you inspire me that I can do this! Do you mind me asking how many weeks it’s taken you ( I probably already have but just want to burn that into my mind that it’ll only take x more weeks).

I did it before they’re just ok. I’m on a different tfr this time and don’t feel like I’m on one as I really love the options. However lipotrim did me good before!

Thank you for your kind words and support Jess. Yes it has been a journey 🙈 Had a few realisations along the way.

You’re doing great Jess ☺️

Hi Carla

Yes you do mix them with water - you can have them as a shake or mousse (if mixed with a small amount of water).

I really enjoy the taste of the Lipotrim products, but it is personal preference! I love the flapjacks and have one every day but I know others find them gross.....

There are so many VLCDs available now - as shrinking Violet mentioned, she is doing Lighter Life where there are a range of products to choose from, Exante, New You and Slim n Save also offer similar products.

Good luck with whatever you choose ☺️

That’s very kind of you to say thank you.

I always lose 3-4lb a week on Lipotrim/1st a month x
Fab my first time I lost slowly but I was 184 starting, after dd1 it came off fast so I’m hoping this time it will also. That means nearly 7 months for me but I’ve 1 down and to be slinky for Christmas would be amazing!

What is Lighter Life like? They have so many different products and you get four products a day don’t you?

I’ve tried Exante before which was nice but I found it triggered my hunger and just made me want food.

I really enjoy it, don’t feel like I’m on a diet at all but it’s balanced enough that I’m in ketoisis so no cravings. I don’t but the pop chips though as I think they would spiral. I jus can’t get over that I’m on a strict diet and I eat blueberry pancakes for breakfast and have noodles most days. To be honest I struggle to take 4 packs and generally have 3 and it’s more than enough.

I am so glad that I tried them. There’s an offer on for the sachets online and in superdrug for the pots until the 15th so get one of each, give them a go and see what you think. I love the apple porridge made as scones and buying a waffle maker as some of their packs are supposed to be yum that way...

It’s great you don’t feel deprived or on a diet!

Thank you, I’ll get some to try as I think I’ll use TFR products on my 5:2 days ☺️

My Husband cooked his chicken on the BBQ this afternoon 😭 I was tempted but there really really is no point! I have 10 days TFR and want to have good losses! I realise how easy it is to self sabotage - you start to feel a little bit better about yourself and think oh it won’t hurt.....but it definitely impacts the loss for the week and it’s not worth it 🙄

I’ve done 15km on the treadmill over the last three days and five Yoga classes this week - I don’t find it makes a difference to my weight loss but it helps me feel better about myself overall, which is just as important, if not more so than the number on the scales ❤️

I hope everyone is having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend ❤️

Well done resisting and it absolutely matters you’ll be so hit by the time you finish!

Thank you, yes it does matter.

More importantly, I can have chicken during my refeed and subsequently after so I’m not missing out on anything 😂

At this point even the cat food smells nice 😂

I’m going to order some of the LL products from Superdrug ☺️ Any recommendations? I think I would only manage three products a day and not four, but nice to have that option if you’re particularly hungry one day.

The chocolate, peanut and salted caramel bars look good and have good reviews. Is the Vanilla porridge nice? I remember the Cambridge Weight Plan porridge was so awful it genuinely made me gag and I had to throw it into the bin 🤢

I make the apple and cinnamon porridge into scones and they are yum. The blueberry pancakes are heavenly my kids beg for some. The mug cake is nice but I overdid it and it’s so filling I can’t manage a full pack and struggle the rest of the day. The Thai noodles are yum and the ramen one are quite nice. I like the veg soup and also the sweet potato one (I don’t like sweet potato). Not fussed on the bars find them hard going but like the pop chips.
The website has offers on the sachets until the 15th it’s only 1.67 a sachet and you don’t have to buy in packs of 4. Superdrug is good for the pots atm as they are £1 off in their stores.
