3 Weeks!!! :)

    Hi people :)

    Starting afresh, with renewed "jeez is my ass really that big" and other revelations...

    Using MyFitnessPal and an ounce of common sense, I should be able to do this, right?!

    Starting about 268lbs (19.09.11), I weigh in on Mondays at home, and once a month at the Nurse.

    I have a challenge with Jayde in the SW section (was on SW a couple of weeks) to lose 30lbs by Christmas.
    And I had a challenge with myself to get comfortably under 18st by Halloween, but I am beginning to doubt that I will make that, to be honest..

    But we'll see!! Might work wonders these next couple of weeks!!

    Generally speaking, I stay at home on Mondays to Fridays, and at weekends I stay at the fella's house. I am not giving up my Sunday Morning Bacon Butty for nothing, but through the week I will be taking a few Shakes and bars to keep calories down.

    PS - MFP tells me I should be having 1460cals a day. :cool:

    PPS - Hurdles. Don't we love them!
    I have the following events to look forward to:
    28th Sept - Evening meal out - Prezzo or Ask - Should manage a fairly low cal thing here if I have my sensible head on..
    15th Oct - Boyfriend's sister's wedding
    28th-31st October - Weekend break for the Boyfriend's 30th Birthday :)

    I know Prezzo have a under 600 calorie section so that should be alright. Can't remember about Ask. Good luck!

    Ace, thanks!! :) I know the basics - Stick away from the creamy sauces, pizza = hella points, and avoid pudding... I'll be driving so that's me on diet coke lol... It's just STICKING to the sensible ideas innit! ;)

    6:00am - Breakfast - Strawberry Shake (205)
    8:30am - Snack - Ham Roll (182)
    12:30pm - Lunch - Tomato Soup (77), Muller mango & passionfruit (95)
    7:30pm - Tea - Reggae Reggae chicken, 120g new potatoes, carrots & broccoli (338)
    Pudding - Arctic Roll (208)
    Snack while tea was cooking - WW Crackers & 30g cheese spread (117)
    9:00pm - Supper - 2 x digestives (140)

    Drinks -
    3 x tea
    1 x water
    5 x NAS squash

    Total - 1395 / 65 left

    Not too bad... long day at work, was almost gnawing on the steering wheel driving home :)

    Better prepared for tomorrow I think!

    AND managed to persuade the Boy to go to Prezzo - I quite fancy that Tiger Prawn Chilli Spaghetti for 494 cals!

    All in all, a positive day despite knob-eds at work :)

    Thank you! Bit late checking in today, been a bit focussed on The Dress.
    The blokes sister's wedding is 2 weeks on Saturday, and having gone through 25 dresses (and 2 still en-route!) I have narrowed it down to a khaki tulip style skirted thing, a grey chiffony thing and a purple drapey thing. We'll see what happens. Still plenty of time yet.! No matter how much time I spend prancing round my room, I know I won't decide til about ... 3 hours before we have to leave :p

    So food for today!
    Breakfast - Vanilla Shake (205)
    Snack - Small ham roll (147)
    Lunch - chicken, pasta, reggae reggae sauce, spinach and cheese (371)
    Snack - Rhubarb Muller (95)
    Tea - Turkey Stir Fry (163)
    Pudding - Arctic Roll, banana (297)
    Supper - WW Tomato Biscuits & cheese (166)

    1440 / 1460 :D

    I feel like I have done nothing but eat..

    Tomorrow -
    Shake for breakfast
    leftover stirfry, soup for lunch
    Out for tea - Prezzo, spaghetti with chilli tiger prawns & I'm drooling at the thought of it... :D

    Hi :) thank gawd its the weekend!

    Well, Wednesday didn't go quite to plan. Blokey wanted burgers, so muggins here caved to the puppy-dog eyes and we went to the Handmade Burger Co, which was a better choice than TGIs!

    Thursday, I was ok for my calories. At work, the team went to the canteen for lunch.. I looked at the days options, and faced with steak pie, offered to stay back and watch the phones. Had a WW pizza for tea :)

    Today, was the first day I wanted to cheat. Made a huge curry, which I've been sampling whenever I go in the kitchen. It's low calorie!

    Looking forward to a proper breakfast tomorrow, and my bacon sandwich on Sunday before I'm back on the shakes Monday morning.
    Wonder if this is done me any good......

    Monday :

    Chocolate shake

    Toffee Muller and an Options Hot Choc

    Tried a meal replacement bar... never again, its a strange feeling to actually not want to put food in your mouth... didn't even have half of it!
    WW chicken noodle soup

    Chicken Lasagne

    Need to add more. This is coming in at about 800, MFP will tell me off.......!

    If you're not hungry, try something like a few nuts. High in calories, but good for you :)

    Ooh good idea Bostik, thanks! Actually I have some granola, which I usually avoid as it seems quite "high calorie for a bowl of cereal", I might indulge in some of that for a treat! :)

    Unfortunately I got home too late for making lasagne, and there was no onions anyway... so I nuked a potato and had beans. It was gorgeous, but to be frank I was that hungry I'd have eaten the chopping board...

    Today, I didn't fancy a shake. Had beans on toast, and I must admit, I prefer a shake now. I'm actually struggling today, I haven't felt that when I've been taking a shake for breakfast. It gives me the right mindset for the day...

    Lunch is a WW meal - beef chilli with wedges. Rhubarb yogurt too.

    Tea - no idea...

    Hope everyone's having a good day, I feel stressed and sick at work today. Can't wait for hometime ..!

    Hope you don't mind me crashing your diary,
    When is your weigh day? what shakes do you have for breakfast? I always struggle eating in the morning so i was going to start having slim fast (got 3 tubs of chocolate powder in the cupboard so may as well use it)

    Hey Jude... Gosh sorry, bet you hate people saying that!

    Thank you for popping by, I've been having the Tescos Ultraslim shakes for breakfast, and in order of preference - Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Raspberry... Not tried the new Cafe Latte ones, considering Im not a huuuuge coffee fan, but I think I might get a box of this at the weekend to try!

    I have had a Slim Fast Lemon Meringue one this morning, they're quite nice!!

    Have you had a go at the chocolate powders yet? Whats your verdict?

    I weigh in on a Monday at home, weekly, and once a month at the Nurse - Better than going to a weekly class like WW or SW when I aint following their rules!

    This week was a Nursey WI and she told me off cos by her old mechanical scales I have gained 1.5kg in 3 weeks... But by my scales at home, I'm down 5.5 lbs, so I got unnecessarily upset.... But DETERMINED to prove her wrong next time.
    My jeans are falling down, afterall!!! :D x

    Well done on the 5.5lbs, thats brilliant!
    I loved the chocolate powder, did it in the blender with ice and it came out dead thick and yummy x

    Surely there is something wrong with her scales if your clothes are getting big! She should really fix that seeing as she's a nurse!

    Todays been way OTT but I've counted everything. It's down in the dumps comfort food eating, I am well aware of it and all planned up from tomorrow onwards.

    Today, I've come in at 2098 cals, and have had a Bacon & egg sarnie, pizza, cake, toast & jam, a choccie mini roll, hunters chicken with a baked potato & green beans, and a minty chocolate icecream pudding.

    I knew this morning, it wasn't going to be a good day for food.

    Tomorrow! I am going to Frankie & Bennys for tea, they have some lighter choices. Breakfast has to be a shake, no excuses. Lunch is a pasta bake with chicken, and tea out, I might have a salad, or they have spaghetti bolognese for ~450 cals if I remember right.

    Planned for the rest of the week (shakes for breakfasts)
    Monday - Soup / Jacket, sausage casserole, veggies
    Tuesday - Soup / tuna pasta
    Wednesday - out for lunch with mum / Sausage casserole
    Thursday - Soup / quorn stroganoff or chilli if the creme fraiche isn't fresh enough ;)
    Friday - Soup / chilli
    THEN SATURDAY is the wedding, which involves a 3 course meal. And drinks.
    Sunday, 110% back on track. Totally & utterly...

    If I remember right, the chicken arriabata or whatever it is called is about 400ish cals at Frankie and Bennys too. Got a few things you can choose from :)

    Well done for getting back on it hun. I have had a terrible couple of days. Major binges, and there is no excuse really.
