30 day shred weights

hi all,

have ordered the 30 day shred DVD and I believe I need dumbells to do it. Is this a correct asusmption?

So, if I do need weights what size do you all use.

I really want to be prepared so when it comes through the door I can get right onto it.

I have 30 day shred, but haven't looked at it yet (bad leigh!) but yes, she definitely uses weights. Though I'm not sure what size I'd assume they'd be 1kg or 1.5. I have 2kg which I'm planning on using...they were quite heavy when I first picked them up, but aren't so bad now. I suppose its a different matter when you're doing a JM dvd with them!

You could always try using cans or bottles of water until you get hold of some weights. They actually make a really big difference! When you do get some dumbells, I whole heartedly recommend the londsdale ones you can get in sport direct.

So when are you planning on starting? sounds like a good program to follow from what others on here say

When I go back to uni! I have her 30 day shred and 6 week abs DVDs and I'm planning on starting them in a week.

I would do them whilst I'm at home but I live in a town house and the living room is on the secondly floor and I'm worried about going through the floor! Have you started yours yet?

hasn't arrived yet, might be there when I get in from work tonight. Haven't had a chance to get weights though so if it has it'll be tins of beans for me.
