    Hi Katie

I seem to be on the same path as you. I've been on the tablets for 3weeks now & haven't lost a lb! Maybe it just takes time with some of us.

    Sorry I can't help you!

Lisa, if you are being careful about what you eat, (no food more than 5g of fat per 100g, and no more than 15g fat per meal), you wouldn't have any of the horrible side effects. It would only happen if you eat too much fat. So you must be doing it right!!

Good luck to both of you

Lins is right you wont have the side effects unless you go above the 15g fat per meal rule.

Kae, put up some of the things you have to eat and we'll give you some pointers. Also, do you do any exercise as that all helps too...especially if you were already dieting before starting the xenical.

I'm sure if you talk it through with your GP they shoould be able to give you some advice.

I don't think xenical will work with everyone - my dad was on it he's diabetic and it didn't work for him. But I think that's because he has more of a problem with carbs that fats.
