Since reading 50 shades I have been reading a few of this type of book and can recommend a couple:

Bared to You: A Crossfire Novel by Sylvia Day

This is actually a bit naughtier than 50 shades but very similar and if you are having withdrawals I can really recommend :)

Playboys (Mills & Boon Special Releases) by Lynne Graham

I picked this up off the book shelf in my hotel on holiday! Ive never read a M&B but this was very entertaining!!!

All 3 done and dusted, Im glad I made it to the end, was getting bored!

Well I finally cracked and borrowed this from my friend and I have to say it's awful!
It's sooooooooo repetitive, how many times does he cock his head or she bites her lip??
Saying that, I'll probably read it to the end as it's given me a laugh if nothing else.

i may be different because I'm a guy but i read it because of the hype and the "outrageously naughtiness" of it all but to be fair i didn't find it a good read with the repetitiveness and the emails, and the whole bdsm thing is not that intense in my opinion and them sections are few and far between or maybe i was expecting more because of the hype around it. its surely got a lot of women - especially those who don't usually read - reading it. the whole wanting a mr grey talk shows that a lot more women are kinkier than men are lead to believe. but hey who am i to complain? ;) i dunno I've read a lot of reviews of the book and again this is just my view but the women saying that it gets them in the mood for their husband/boyfriend as if the book is the only thing doing it for them is kinda sad as to me it shows their are possibly problems in the relationship, as i find those that do not usually read reading it for the erotic sections sad but if it is a gateway to continuous reading then sure I'm all for it. as for the film i can't imagine how they would be able to make it a success as if its too hardcore it would probably be banned from the cinema, whilst if it deals with it too graciously then it will lose perhaps its main selling point for a lot of people. it has to walk a fine line

I read all three books in three days and really enjoyed them xx

Hayley Jane :) 8 st 3lb to lose

The thing that puzzles me is all these people going on and on AND ON about 'Mr Grey' and how much theyd love 'a man like that' is most of them are married or in relationships... surely in that case if thats what you want you have the potential right there. I bet if they told their OHs what they fancied most of them would be only too happy to oblige, and that has to be a heck of a lot more fun than reading ;)

Tbh I'm pretty bored of fifty shades now, read the first 2 and about 2 chapters of the 3rd and haven't picked it up for days!

Not mine. He is not even a fan of fancy lingerie. Would rather I have nothing on - thinks the other stuff is silly and role play makes no sense to him... He is happy with woman he married. And tbh the whole kinky sex thing sounds like way too much work! Entertaining to read, but nfm.

My OH wouldnt oblige, he'd probably tell me hes busy watching TV or something!

Id love a Christian lol Audi R8, $100k a hour, pent house suit ... Yeah a girl can dream!

read it, found it boring, need a ana though :)

chris pine has ruled out of being in the movie as he said on jay leno and called 50 shades ''Mommy porn'' Couldnt stop Loling

Have read all three. Enjoyed them as they were easy to read and brightened up my hour long bus journey to work. Also given us girls at work a good giggle and topics of conversation. Was when customer asked if he had left his bank card behind, i asked him his name and he said mr grey, i just started laughing. Fortunately he had sense of humour and saw the funny side. x

Tried the first one, they weren't for me. I found it quite disturbing - I wouldn't want to be with a man who wanted to dominate me and control every aspect of my life. And when I read the sex scenes I was sort of picturing myself in them and thinking about beds breaking and fat squelching, that killed any appeal for me right away ...

Oddly enough there is a woman in another office at my company called Anna (two Ns) Steele who sends us emails a lot, whenever I read them I wonder what people have been saying to her since the books came out!

I work in a predominately female office and its been funny to see the 50 shades craze spread like wild fire, amazing what a bit of smut in a book can do.

I told them to start reading some mills and boon!!

I attempted to read the first, but as above they werent for me. I'm not the kind of girl that needs porn...

Finished the second one yesterday, the hype/sex/eroticness doesnt phase me anymore I just wanna know what happens in the end!

Have been told there is another being released from Christian's view on it all

That would probably be quite cool! I read the leaked chapters of Twilight from edward's perspective, and I reckon it would actually have been a better book :)
