A drink problem coming up

Have a problem on the horizon ......wondered if any of you can help ?
In 2 weeks time i'm going out for a meal for 2 friends birthdays .....don't know what type of restaurant yet but am hoping to perhaps have some kind of seafood salad that won't be too disruptive to my cause ..lol.
My BIG problem is what to drink .....i've already told my husband that i'll drive ....so no temptation to drink alcohol.....but i don't want to just drink water :-(. At home when i used to drink a JD and coke once or twice a week i now have a Dr Pepper Zero....it's my treat ...lol.
I'm pretty sure most restaurants don't serve Dr Pepper Zero !! I used to drink lime and soda if i was driving ....can i still drink that or can anyone suggest something i can ?

i think soda water is ok as is coke zero hun x

Could you perhaps take a bottle of dr.pepper zero and just ask for a glass of water at the table, then tip the water away and top your glass up with the dr pepper?

I think lemon or lime in water will take you out of ketosis.

I did do this when we met some friends in a beer garden recently.....just don't know if i'm brave enough to pour my own bought drink in a restaurant ...lol

Ive actually found that having a couple of cans of diet coke has been ok for me. I dont mean a couple regularly I mean a couple once in a blue moon. The only thing is everyones Ketosis levels seem to be different.

I was at a party the other week and had 2 cans all evening and I was absolutely fine....
Thanks Starlight....think i'll have a diet coke or 2 ! Just read the thread about still losing weight even when you're not in ketosis .....so not as worried about it now :)

Drink what you want, as long as it's not alcohol. you will soon be back in ketosis the next day, As long as you don't give in to any pangs you may have. you deserve a treat now and then, and it's not as if you are going to sit there eating a 15 inch pizza to yourself :)
