A Healthier Lifestyle Quest!!

It is really strange how our body works - I also upped my cals last week by quite a lot, drank wine, ate liquorice allsorts etc etc and lost 3lbs - how on earth did that happen :eek:

Nice present - my best friend is Indian and when I go to see her they have that type of music on all the time - a couple of her grown up children are now back at home with her and love music - and it really wants to make you dance.

I had a pre-visit today to the school I will be having my resit placement in (starting a week on Monday!!) and the teacher and class are lovely. I'll be in primary 1 :). Feeling really positive about it all. All the staff seem really welcoming and supportive which makes such a difference.

Off to Calum's for the weekend again but I will NOT fall off the wagon this time! x

Ended up having baked sweet potato, light cheese, chicken tikka pieces & salad for dinner last night.

B - 1 slice toast with light cheese (1.5 syns) & a banana, green.cranberry tea.
L - 1 slice toast with light cheese(1.5 syns) with beans
D - egg&chicken fried.rice, sw sweet potato fries & curry sauce(3.5 syns)

Syns - 7.5
Calories = approx 1400

I managed to stay on plan all weekend and even tried some new tasty recipes like diet coke chicken! :D If I don't have a loss tonight I'll be very sad. However, I am not entirely hopeful as it is my TOTM and I am very bloated :(.

Today's menu:

B - 1 weetabix (HExB) with ss-milk (HExA), strawberries & 1 syn choc shot (that stuff is AMAZING!)
L - banana, alpen light (other half of HExB), low fat yogurt
D - mince & tatties with veg plus 2 syns of ketchup
Snacks - fruit, muller light apple pie (1 syn) & choc shot (1 syn) for dessert.

Syns = 5
Calories = 1400 approx
 
Also tried the Leslie 3 mile walk for the first time today and proud to say I managed to finish it! :D
 
Good news all round then - if you have a sts tonight you will have a good loss next week. :)
 
Stay the same as I suspected. Ah well, gonna stick at it and hope for a good loss next week!

I am having a M & S Cheese Scone craving at the moment - have been in there twice today and walked out without one - can only see it as a matter of time. :) Don't know why - think it is because I have walked passed them a few times and remembered how good they taste. Trouble is I can't find out how many cals they are and how much walking I would have to do to eat one.
 
Hi everyone - so sorry I've been AWOL from here again. I started my final teaching placement on Monday and just basically have not enough time in the day!

I'm still on plan though and lost 3lbs this week :D

Just a quick update... still on plan... you can check my slimmingworld_erin IG for pictures of my meals if you are interested :)
Exercise wise I've been walking to/from the school every day during the week so that's about 1 hour all in plus I'm obviously on my feet and moving about a lot while teaching.

Hoping for at least half a lb off to get my stone award on Monday but would like a wee bit more. *fingers crossed*

Morning all!

I took my measurements again this morning and I have lost 10 inches in total! 2 from my thighs, 3 from my hips/Buddha belly, 3 from my waist, 1 from my bust and 1 from my upper arm!

Pretty chuffed with that so won't be too disheartened if the scales stay the same tomorrow night...which they shouldn't cause I have been on plan all week! x
 
Bet you are looking forward to the scales now instead of dreading them - well done.
