Extra Easy A rare extra easy day

Hi Everyone,
well I very rarely do an extra easy day as I love my healthy extras too much! I'm really proud of myself as hubby has just bought a few packs of magnum style choc ices from aldi. One of these worked out at 13syns :eek: and I only had 12 left for the day, so I asked my hubby to take a large bite, I reweighed and synned the remaining using the nutritional info and it came in at 12 syns - result ! Also the highlights hot chocolate, I weighed out instead of guessing 19g of dark highlights is 3syns. Feeling really good about being so accurate, fingers crossed it'll help.

B- quorn sausages, egg, beans
D- jacket potato, sweetcorn, tuna, salad
T- broccoli and peas with pasta n sauce, 42g low low cheese (HA)
Snacks- hot choc (3), choc ice (12), fruit salad, banana ?, something for my HB choice

Oh no, just realised that I'd used a tbsp of light salad cream with my jacket :( Damn !

Hi Hun, try to have superfree with your breakfast and make sure your salad and brocolli are a third of your other meals.
I'd have called this a green day and had the tuna as a B choice leaving room for another A!

You're right, I missed the superfree at breakfast. Salad and sweetcorn were the 1/3 of a plate for lunch, although sweetcorn wouldnt count as superfree - doh! Tea I can definitely have 1/3 broccoli, although the peas wouldnt count and I'm having half a pack of pasta (rather than having a whole one) and filling it out with some quorn strips :)

Perhaps this should be green, although I did have a whole tin of tuna!

Just double checked and the amount of tuna was fine for a green day - so I've changed it :)

just incase you didnt know coz i only found out when i re-read my book last week that quorn mince and pieces are superfree:) so when your bulking up meals you can use your quorn as well as veg:)

i used to always to green but now that ive started doing EE i cant go back to green ...weird lol

Quorn is no longer suprfree it used to be but when they redid the books to have EE as the man plan quorn, eggs and yogurt although free on both red and green are no longer superfree. Only fruit and non starchy veg are superfree now.

i am so jelous of you all eating superfree quorn - I can't eat quorn as it makes me violently sick for hours !
